'Why I Donated My Life Savings To Buhari' - 80-year Old Kebbi Grandmum Speaks

80-year old Malama Fati Ibrahim Talle-Tara, a popular food vendor in Koko, Koko/Besse Local Government Area of Kebbi State. She famously offered her life savings to the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, retired General Muhammadu Buhari for his campaign when he visited the state. Weekly Trust had a chat with her.
Read Excerpts below:

Weekly Trust: What motivated you to offer your life savings to General Buhari for his campaign?
Fati Ibrahim Talle-Tara: The first time Buhari ventured into politics and contested, he lost. The second and third time, too, he lost but he appealed to us to be patient. This will be the fourth time Buhari will contest. It is his patriotism, humility and honesty that make me support him.

As I speak to you, I have assigned one of my sons to Kano to produce 300,000 posters for Buhari’s campaign. The posters are in Jega right now, ready for distribution.

WT: How much money have you spent campaigning on behalf of General Buhari?
Talle-Tara: All my life savings during the times he has contested. There was a time I spent N2 million. I spend my money campaigning for him because everybody knows that he doesn’t have money to do so. I generate the money mostly from savings from my food-selling business which I’ve been doing for decades. It’s my life savings.
WT: How will you cope now that you’ve donated all your savings?
Talle-Tara: How much is the money? Compared to the good governance we will get, it’s nothing, really.

WT: How did General Buhari receive you when you met him at the airport?
Talle-Tara: I waited the whole day at the airport. I met him physically that day for the first time in my life and we greeted warmly. I felt fulfilled. He was also excited when we met. Interestingly, my fathers’ name is Buhari, too. So, I will do everything for him like I would for my father. Moreover, General Buhari is sincere and patriotic.

When he landed at the airport, he said they should inform Sokoto State Governor Magatakarda Wamakko to take care of my needs.

WT: Did Governor Wamakko do so, as requested?
Talle-Tara: Yes, I was in Sokoto with my people last Saturday and we were lodged in one of the big hotels. He (Wamakko) asked me to make any request. I said all I need is for him to continue his good work and support good governance in Nigeria. He gave me N1million, one bale of wrappers and two Hajj seats, one for me and one for my daughter Umma whose husband died and left with seven children.

WT: How would you feel if the change you expect doesn’t come?
Talle-Tara: I will continue to use my money to campaign for good governance in Nigeria and I will never regret doing that. We have trust in God that this time around we will have that change that we are clamouring for. Even if we lose this election, we will still consider ourselves winners because we know that we lost not because we did not win.

WT: What contribution are you making towards credible, violence-free and credible elections?
Talle-Tara: I have commissioned religious scholars within my available resources to pray every day for Nigeria. We have faith in God, there won’t be any crisis.

WT: What is your dream for Nigeria?
Talle-Tara: My dream is to see a day that Buhari will win the election and be sworn into office. That day, I will slaughter a cow, cook plenty food and throw a big party. I have told them that I will declare free food at my shop for everybody including those in the town and villages to come and celebrate.

WT: Would you describe yourself as a politician?
Talle-Tara: My late son and I ventured into politics when Buhari did. I am into politics just to support Buhari.

WT: Are you married?
Talle-Tara: I’m a widow. My husband died and left me with 15 children and 15 grandchildren, and most of them are the ones helping me right now in my business place. I’m actually from Jega. It’s marriage that brought me to Koko.

''Boy Attacked By Dogs Got Infections At LASUTH'' – Indian Hospital Blast LASUTH

Four-year-old Abraham Omonigho, who was attacked by two German shepherd dogs in Igando area of Lagos State, in September 2014, was infected while at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, Ikeja.

This was said by the medical personnel at the Apollo Hospitals, Hyderabad, an Indian medical facility in Telegana State, where Omonigho was flown to late November, 2014, after his father, Odia, took him out of LASUTH.

After spending about two months at the Apollo Hospitals, Omonigho returned to Nigeria on Thursday. The treatment of the undisclosed infection was said to have lasted over one month.

Omonigho’s scalp had been covered up by the doctors but Odia said his son would return to India in June 2015, for a micro surgery.

Saturday PUNCH learnt this on Friday during a visit to the Abrahams in their Akesan Estate residence in Igando area of Lagos.

Omonigho had been saved by his mother, Helen who single handedly fought off two German dogs that had attacked him. The victim was taken to LASUTH and the State Governor, Babatunde Fashola, ordered the management not to collect money from the family. However, the victim’s father, Odia, had a running battle with the hospital management, which he said still charged him for drugs and other medications.

Odia later raised the alarm that his son’s condition had worsened as a result of neglect by the hospital. The Delta State Governor, Emmanuel Uduaghan, intervened and together with a non-governmental organisation, Global Initiative for Peace, Love and Care, a trip to India was arranged for Omonigho to undergo a surgery.

The Lagos State Commissioner, Jide Idris, in a press release cautioned against the trip, saying the victim’s condition was delicate. Idris alleged that the victim’s father declined the state government’s offer for Omonigho to be flown to another specialist hospital in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Odia, however, insisted that his son’s head had started to rot and that the Indian trip had been concluded before the state government gave him the Dubai offer.

Odia said the Indian doctors thrashed the medical report LASUTH issued to them, which he said was termed as “mere paper.” He said:
“They said the report did not give them any information and couldn’t have been written by a doctor. They said it was good I quickly brought my son because his head was getting rotten and had been infected while at the hospital.

The doctors told me they could not start with the surgery because they had to treat the infections first. You remember I cried out that my son’s head smelled, but the LASUTH people said it was granulation. I had always suspected things were wrong because at LASUTH, the nurses would open his head for dressing at 6am and leave it open for the doctors, who would not show up till 12pm. And when they did, they would ask the nurses to close it up.

I remembered that no doctor showed up for two weeks during a particular time. That was when I got mad because his condition was becoming critical. But in India, they dressed his wound three times a day, and at least five special senior doctors attended to him every day.”

PUNCH's correspondent was shown a medical document of the hospital which confirmed that Omonigho’s head was infected. It read:
“At the time of admission, there was: large raw area over scalp with infection; the raw area was extending from frontal scalp, bilateral parietal scalp to occipital region; the raw area was looking pale and slimy; Infection+.
Dr. Durga Prassad, consultant paediatrician, was consulted for evaluation of medical problems. He (Omonigho) was diagnosed as a case of infected raw area over scalp.”

Odia said the doctors told the family they needed to do skin grafting to temporarily cover up the wound before the major operation would be done after his return to India in June.

Obanikoro Confirms Buhari Was Stoned At Lagos Rally

Senator Obanikoro released a statement through his Special Adviser (Media Strategy) Ohimai Amaize

Immediate past Minister of State for Defence and former PDP Lagos gubernatorial aspirant, Senator Musiliu Obanikoro on Friday chided the All Progressives Congress (APC) over denials that its presidential candidate, General Muhammadu Buhari was stoned in Lagos while making his way to the APC Lagos presidential rally.

Senator Obanikoro had condemned the stoning of General Muhammadu Buhari in Lagos on Friday after the news of his stoning broke via online news media platforms and went viral across the social media.

The APC on Friday through its spokesperson, Lai Mohammed denied the report stating that General Buhari was not stoned but rather received cheers from bystanders.

However, Senator Obanikoro in a statement on Friday issued by Ohimai Amaize, his Special Adviser on Media Strategy, noted that the APC’s denial of Buhari’s stoning in Lagos was not only pointless and futile but also does not give the APC any advantage.

“When things go wrong, we must acknowledge and condemn it in order to forestall any future occurrences.

“Senator Obanikoro, based on eyewitness accounts is aware of the stoning incident at Idumagbo area of Isale-Eko, Lagos State and the fact that a woman was injured in the ensuing fracas after General Buhari's security detail had to shoot into the air to dispel the irate mob”, the statement noted.

Police Arrest Suspected Boko Haram Bomb Maker(Report)

A suspected Boko Haram bomb maker along side nine other accomplices have been arrested by the Nigerian security operatives.

The man, identified as Ba’na, suspected to be behind the fabrication of explosives used in a series of Boko Haram suicide attacks, was arrested in Yobe State, a senior police officer told Agence France Presse on Tuesday, Punch reports

The suspected bomb maker was held in the Arikime area of Potiskum after some weeks of surveillance, said the officer, who was involved in the Sunday arrest.

Potiskum, the commercial capital of Yobe State, has been hit by a wave of bombings in recent months, including a suicide attack on a secondary school in November in which 58 people were killed.

On January 18, at least four people died in an attack on a bus station, while the previous weekend two women wearing suicide vests killed six people at a market and two died in a car bombing outside a police station.

The police officer, who asked not to be named because he was not authorised to speak to the media, said Ba’na was in his mid-thirties and had admitted making the bombs.

“He confessed to being responsible for the manufacture of the explosives used in at least three suicide attacks and the car explosion outside the divisional police station,” he added.

Nine alleged accomplices were also arrested in a hideout in the town hours after Ba’na’s arrest.

Ba’na allegedly made the explosives used in the November school attack, the January 10 car bombing and January 11 market blasts, the source added.

He was said to have moved to Potiskum from the state capital Damaturu three years ago and worked as a stonemason and water vendor before getting married.

“He was quite good at his disguise and his mason and water vending jobs gave him perfect cover,” the officer said.

But the Nigeria Police has said it did not have any information on the suspect or purported arrest.

“I don’t have any information on that,” the police spokesman, Emmanuel Ojukwu, said on Tuesday when contacted by our correspondent.

Pictured : Woman kills Lover She Met On Badoo(Report)

A Woman identified as Loretta Odikagbo reportedly brought two men (one of them pictured right) to the home of her lover to kill him. They tied his legs, hands, taped his mouth and snuffed life out of him. Read Full story from Tribune below..

The life of a young man, Charles Bankole Orisanya from Akoko in Ondo State, who was working with Halliburton in Rivers State ended sadly and brutally on September 19th, 2014 when his 26-year-old girlfriend, Loretta Odikagbo, snuffed life out of him. She was however apprehended almost three months after, precisely December 9, 2014 after a painstaking investigation by the Homicide Section of the Rivers State Police Command.

Senior police officers who investigated the case said that the method of killing was an uncommon one in Nigeria, as Miss Odikagbo, popularly called Loretta, and two accomplices allegedly tapered late Orisanya’s mouth, hands and legs before covering his head with a polythene bag. Loretta was said to have sat on the deceased’s head while one of the accomplices, Ime Francis Moses Jnr., held his neck until he became lifeless.

According to information gathered by Crime Reports, Loretta Odikagbo, a student of Rivers State Polytechnic, Bori, met Orisanya on Badoo network and they started dating online. They connected physically and the relationship blossomed over the next months. Along the line, Loretta fell out of love with her lover. And the reason she gave was that her lover boy was not fulfilling his promises. The deceased, who was in his early 30s, was a civil engineer and a staff of Halliburton Company at Trans-Amadi area of Port Harcourt, it was learnt.

On September 19th, 2014, the lover invited the lady to his house but she did not come alone. Crime Reports learnt that she hired two men to go with her and hid them under the staircase of the lover’s residence.

In order not to arouse any suspicion, Loretta released herself totally to her lover and engaged in a passionate love making session with him. After the man climaxed, he rolled off and got ready for sleep. The lady was said to have quietly opened the door to let the two accomplices in. Pointing a gun-like object at Bankole, Loretta and the boys used a rope and masking tape to tie his hands and legs.

Satisfied that she had dealt with her lover, Loretta left for an Automated Teller Machine to collect all the cash in Bankole’s account. Of course, she had earlier collected the secret pin from him under duress. Not done, the lady was said to have returned and had gone to her lover’s kitchen to pick a polythene bag to cover his head after taping his mouth, and sat on his head. One of the accomplices, Moses, held the man’s neck until he gave up the ghost. The two men also took their victim’s shirts, shoes and other personal items while Loretta went for his LG phone and laptop.

When the case was reported at a police station, it was learnt that there was no single clue that could be used to trail the killers. But when the case was transferred to Department of Criminal Investigation, Rivers State Police Command, the crack detectives investigating the case were able to resolve the mystery as they worked on an item picked from the scene crime. This eventually led to Loretta’s arrest and, subsequently, Moses’, while the third suspect is still at large.

In an interview with Loretta, she claimed that she decided to deal with late Orisanya because he was not fulfilling all his promises to her. Her narration went thus: “I am from Rumuomasi, Obio/Akpor Local Government area of Rivers State. I was born on May 2, 1988. I hold a Diploma in Mass Communication and was to resume for my HND in January 2015 but I was arrested in December 2014.

“I asked a friend, Moses to help harass a man who was my boyfriend but is now deceased. I met Bankole (Orisanya) through a social network called Badoo in January 2014 and we got intimate online since he was at the rig offshore when we met. He was there for two months and we became internet lovers. We were chatting and exchanging pictures. When he came back, he invited me over and we started dating.

“The basis of it all was money. When I met him, it was all promises upon promises. Along the line, the sex was going on and the money was not coming. He would give me N10,000, N15,000 but that was not what I expected from him. Also when we first met, to me, he was a single man but along the line, I discovered he was married.

“We talked about it but he didn’t want the affair to end. He said that it would not be a problem and he could handle it. But I only continued with him because I was waiting for the promises to be fulfilled. I was not interested in marriage to him.  We had a bit of misunderstanding concerning money and our relationship. I asked my friend who is also my in-law to help me so that I could get the money forcefully from Bankole.

“Along the line, I could not control my anger so I asked my in-law to come help harass him to get what I could get from him and move on with my life.

“On a particular night, he called me and I went to his place with my in-law and one other guy. I felt it was an opportunity to deal with him. We went to his residence and I managed to sneak the two men into the compound. I hid them under the stairs. I went in to Bankole and we made love. After we were done, I left him in the bedroom and went to the kitchen as if I wanted to drink water, and let the guys in. I made it look like both of us were being robbed. We met Bankole in the sitting room; probably trying to know what kept me away for long.

“There was no light. I didn’t see any gun. My in-law was holding a tape while the other guy held a torch and something that looked like a gun. Bankole and I went on our knees and the guys were threatening us, asking for money. My lover told them that he had money in his account so he gave them his ATM card pin number.

“My-in law tied his hands with the tape and second guy acted like I had to be the one to follow him to the ATM. It was raining heavily that night. It was almost midnight. We left for the ATM and I withdrew a little over N120,000 and paid the guy off. I gave him about N30,000 or thereabouts. My in-law came to meet me at the ATM and I also gave him almost N50,000.

“I took Bankole’s LG phone while his laptop was brought to me the following day by my in-law. I can’t remember what the other guy took from Bankole’s house. I didn’t know anything about the polythene that was used to cover his head.”

Loretta said she did not bother to go back to Orisanya’s house so did not know that he died. “I didn’t have the intention of dating him anymore; I just wanted to move on. I only knew about Bankole’s death when I was arrested.”

Moses (30), who said he hails from Akwa Ibom State, however gave a contrary narration to Loretta’s. According to him, “Loretta called me and said that she and her boyfriend were having some issues. She said he was owing her some money and had refused to ‘settle’ her. She said she would call me to go and harass him promising to notify me whenever he called her. Before then she gave me some money to buy a torchlight, which I did.

“On a day, she called me and came to meet me. We went to Rumuomasi to pick another guy called Winkoro. He refused being part of the plan and we left him. As we walked, we saw a boy whom I knew but don’t know his name. I introduced him to her and she explained her intention to him and he joined us.

“She took us to the man’s house and kept us under the staircase. Earlier, she gave the other guy a rope and masking tape and I was with a torch light and an iron object that looked like a gun. After a while, she called us in and we got into the kitchen. Minutes later, according to her instruction, we got into the room where she was with her boyfriend.

“I pointed the torch at the man and said: “Na you dey owe our sister and you no wan pay”. The lover boy pleaded that he was going to pay; that we should calm down. The guy with us tied the man’s legs with a rope and tapered his hands. Loretta stood up and slapped the man repeatedly. After that she asked the man of money but he said he had no money at home. He pointed at his ATM cards and gave Loretta the pin number.

“She and the other guy left for the ATM and I stayed with our victim. I later called her to confirm if the pin was right and she said yes. I asked if I should start coming but she asked me to wait at the man’s house. Before she left, she and the other guy packed some items like laptop, phone. When she came back, she went to the man’s room.

“She came out, went to the kitchen, brought a polythene bag and said that if I did not assist her in killing the man, if the bubble burst, I would be the first person she would mention. She covered the man’s head with the polythene bag and sat on his head while I assisted her in holding the man’s neck until he became motionless.

“Loretta gave me N28,000. I was arrested on December 10, 2014. She was the one who led the police to me. I took three shirts and a sandal from the man’s house. Taking the man’s life was not in the initial plan.”

On the relationship between them, Moses said that he and Loretta used to drink alcohol together while she was also a chain smoker. Loretta confirmed this and added that she used to smoke marijuana.

Moses also revealed that a case akin to the current one occurred three years ago. “Loretta had a man she was going out with. They had some problems and because Loretta had the man’s spare key, she gave it to me and asked me to go and pack the man’s things and her own too, so that it would look like robbery. The man got her arrested and I was also picked. We returned the things to the man,” Moses disclosed. Again, Loretta confirmed this and said that the man was a staff of Shell.

When contacted, the Police Public Relations Officer in Rivers State, DSP Ahmad Muhammad, confirmed the story, saying that the case was still under investigation at the Department of Criminal Investigation. Source

Man And Wife Lead Gang To Rob Residents

The Augustines’ rented apartment
Wonders they say shall never end. The Ogun State Police Command has arrested a gang of armed robbers, including a couple, who allegedly went to rob in an estate at Abule Lemode in the Ijoko area of the state.

A correspondent of Punch gathered that the four suspects ─ Amache and Seun Augustine, Taiwo Dada and Ezekiel Alawode ─ were apprehended while allegedly robbing at Santos Crescent, Araromi Estate.

They were reportedly arrested at about 9.30pm on Saturday, January 17.
Punch Metro learnt that the suspects, who were in possession of a locally-made pistol, were first apprehended by the members of the local vigilance group before they were handed over to the Agbado Police Division, Ayinla, on Sunday.

The correspondent of Punch gathered that it was the couple ─ Amache and Seun ─ who had stayed in the estate for about a year, that allegedly led the gang on the night of the incident.

They were said to have also connived with one of the security men in the estate.

When Punch Metro visited the area on Friday, one of the victims, Mr. Rasheed Akinwande, said the robbers stole cash and recharge cards from his house.

He added that he knew Amache as a bricklayer in the estate, but was surprised to know that the couple brought the robbers to attack the residents.

He said, “It was at about 9pm when they got to my apartment. They were two men and two women ─ Amache and his wife with another man and woman. But the couple did not come inside my house. Instead, two strange faces, who wore black jackets and jean, broke through my windows, and pointed a gun at me.

“They asked everyone to lie down, and they collected money ─ about N6,000 that they found in the house. They demanded more, and they even packed the recharge cards which my wife was selling. Few minutes later, we began to hear gunshots in the environment. The robbers fled. But the local vigilance group apprehended them eventually.”

The General Secretary of the estate’s community development association, Stephen Adesoji, said the executives prevented an angry mob from lynching the suspects on the night.

He said, “Two of the suspects were a husband and wife, and they live with us in the estate. They invited two others to perpetrate the crime. It was the security man they connived with who later alerted us that robbery was going on, and we informed the vigilance group.”

The correspondent of Punch was shown the couple’s rented apartment. It was observed that the place was locked and dusty.

Amache, it was said, worked as a bricklayer, while the woman was a full time housewife, who took care of the union’s four children.

It was gathered that the suspects, in their statements to the police, had confessed to the crime.

The Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Muyiwa Adejobi, confirmed the arrest.

He added that the suspects had been transferred to the State Criminal Investigations Department, Eleweran, Abeokuta.

He said, “The suspects are now at the SCID where further investigation is ongoing.”

Striking resemblance!!! Man claims to be President Goodluck Jonathan's illegitimate Son

Just weeks before the presidential elections in Nigeria, a 24 year-old man, Ibime Belema-Jonathan, has announced that he is the illegitimate son of incumbent President Goodluck Jonathan.

This revelation emerged at the weekend from an online blogger, Chukwudi Iwuchukwu, saying Belema-Jonathan, who claims to be a native of Nembe, Baylesa State, had made the announcement on his Twitter handle.

The report from the blogger said: “According to Belema-Jonathan, his mother was a receptionist in a Port Harcourt hotel (which shall remain undisclosed) when she met Goodluck nearly 25 years ago.

“Their relationship was made private because of the risks it posed to Goodluck’s then fledgling political career.”

The blogger added that Belema-Jonathan stated that, “He has decided to disclose this information after recently being informed by his mother, who had just passed away.

It is his desire for his father to assume and fulfil his fatherly duties after a lifetime of absence”, that led to the revelation.
However, Dr Reuben Abati, the Special Adviser to President Jonathan on media, has denied the claim, saying that the President does not have any illegitimate sons by whatever name.

According to Abati, the report is cheap propaganda from the opposition party.

The Special Adviser added that the timing of the report, coming in the heat of the election campaign, shows the desperation of some people.

Election things!!! Nigeria Government announces reduction in fuel price

Strange things keep happening in Nigeria.Barely one month to the General elections in February 2015, The Nigeria government has announced a reduction in fuel price. Despite the drop in oil prices which will result in the fall of oil revenue, the Nigeria government is ironically reducing the price of fuel. In other economies, the drop of oil increase would have led to the increase of fuel price to make up for government spending but instead the Petroleum Minister Alison-Madueke has announced a N10 reduction in pump price of petrol from N97 per litre to N87 per litre effective midnight tonight January 18th. This is nice but the sad thing  is that Nigeria government only think of the poor masses during election time and revert to their harsh and neglecting altitudes when elected into office.

Jonathan will win, an ex-president of Nigeria will die.-Read Joshua Iginla's SHOCKING 2015 predictions

It seems prophecy is now the selling point in churches. While one prophet is saying God gave him a message that the president is misleading the country and has rejected him, this one is saying God told him Jonathan will remain as the President of Nigeria. I know one thing for sure,God is not the author of confusion.Read Prophet Joshua Iginla shocking 2015 predictions which he disclosed days back during a special service in his church at Kubwa, Abuja.
“I want to say some few things God spoke to me about 2015. For Nigeria, I want to tell you the voice of God. Nigeria will not split. The hand that holds Nigeria is bigger than all. The population in the country. In my vision, I saw a giant hand bigger than the continent of Africa upholding Nigeria. And God said there is nothing kept in His hands that can fall. The prophecy that Nigeria will split won’t come to pass. You can see the signs, but it will never come to pass.
There will be shakings in 2015 and it will be so serious. Both the big and small will feel it greatly. No matter how powerful or well organized 2015 election is, it will be faulted. I see a lot of litigations, disagreements and court cases because the mindset of many prior to the election is so dangerous.
I am not a politician nor belong to any political party, I am just speaking God’s mind. The person sitting on the seat might not be perfect, but he will retain the seat. It’s not guess work. Howbeit, it will be a battle between the lion and the tiger. President Jonathan will win, but he has to pray about his health and so many political blows. I pray the two people that enter the Aso Villa will leave together. That’s why we should pray for the woman beside the president. The president and wife should pray that the first lady would finish the tenure together and not losing one before the end of their tenure.
“Shortly after the election, especially on the night of the election, there will be great vandalisation. I see cars being burnt, lives killed. Counting from the night of the election, these evil will happen six days after the election. I see bitterness, disappointment fire and you might note these states, Bauchi, Yobe, Maiduguri, Lagos, Kaduna, Kano, Rivers, but in the midst of these battles, the storm will calm down. We should pray and watch out for military intervention. God has instructed us to pray and fast from February 1 to February 3, 2014 against military intervention. I will leave the rest coded. When I said there will be disagreement, it will be so strong because it’s like some people are battle ready for war, but God will keep Nigeria.
In 2015, so many great men will fall, not only in Nigeria, but internationally too. So many politicians and powerful people will go down.
“I see a terrorist attack against a high rising building in Nigeria. We have to pray for our financial tower and INEC office. Let’s pray against bomb blast.
Two churches will be under serious attacks. One of them is an orthodox church while the second one is a Pentecostal. One of the two churches is stationed in a satellite town while the second one is in the heart of Abuja city. I also saw gun battles. I mean, men shooting sporadically. They were imported from another city. They were shooting anyhow. We should pray for the city of Gwagwalada and Suleja downward. God will help us. We should pray about this in the month of January and February. Also, many men of God indulging in voodoo or occultism, mixing white with black will experience God’s judgement in 2015. Great judgement in the sense that they will be exposed and lots of things will happen that will be the end of such ministries.
I saw a very popular man of God who is highly respected mourned. The reason is that his wife will be called to glory. It will be a great shock to him because he is highly respected. I am not permitted to mention his name. I see great politicians and ministers in one aircraft. Three prominent faces were among them, but the plane crashed. They should be careful of traveling in group, irrespective of where they are going. I see people pointing accusing fingers at different directions. I also see great fire outbreak in Lagos which would claim lots of lives. By January we have to pray and fast to avert this.
“Bola Ahmed Tinubu should pray that he might finish the political fire he started especially in Lagos to the end. The reason is that even the might of the mighty can be broken.
Specifically, Kogi State Governor should pray to survive 2015. I saw him struggling for breath.
A very popular musician, young artiste who sings secular songs should pray against death. He is like someone trying to sell his soul to the devil and it resulted to death. I am not permitted to mention his name. I see ASUU strike and it will be long and will shake the system, but restored later. I see Russian economy under attack by a strange hand. They have to pray so that a strong country like that won’t be brought low prowling for survival. Their economy will shrink. I see the president under attack. A lot of serious riots against his person. I also see great stars coming out of China and the country getting bigger and better. Their rise will be a great threat to big countries like USA. They will become centre of attraction, economically.
America should pray to be economically relevant in 2015.
“Nigeria should pray not to go to war with Chad. I see a former president of Nigeria giving up the ghost this year. And people trooping down to his home state for burial. His candle light has burned out already and nothing we can do to it. America will experience great terrorist attacks. The fire they are trying to put off in other countries should not burn them in their own house. I see a dark cloud dangling on American economy and this could render them useless. It will lead to great depression. They should prepare because it will be a tough period for them. They should also pray against mid west flood. They should also pray against three major floods that will occur in three states. American president should pray against ill health and there will be an attempt on his life.
I also see great army springing up sophisticated weapons. And that will be from the oil producing states. They will be more fierce and dangerous than Boko Haram. Don’t forget the issue of chemical weapons.

Rivers State Governor, Ameachi has to pray that his political career won’t end abruptly in 2015.
The darkness ahead of him is very great.
In India, I see a top politician dying mysteriously. It will be like an assassination. It will generate lots of controversies and several arguments as to the cause of death. Furthermore, I see an Indian aircraft with lots of passengers crashing with no survivor.
In Ghana, their economy will face serious crisis, but will bounce back. The president will be under severe attacks by the opposition so much that his efforts will be sabotaged.
Liberia will be declared Ebola free in 2015. Their president’s hand will be raised high and strong and God will cause him (her) to be favored. However, he (she) will have a health challenge because I see him (her) being rushed to about two countries. It will be so severe, but God will preserve him. Cameroon president will be under attack and the opposition will revolt. It will be so great that it might lead to restlessness, but he will triumph over it.”
Hmm,people please live your life and reject evil prophecies against you and your family.

Rev. Fr Mbaka Should Be Sanctioned, He Does Not Speak For The Catholic Church in Nigeria- CBCN

More reactions have been emerging after the unbelievable utterances made by Rev. Fr Ejike Mbaka about the second term aspiration of President Goodluck Jonathan. The Catholic Bishops Conference of Nigeria (CBCN) has distanced itself from the recent remarks made by the controversial Catholic Priest and Founder of Adoration Ministry, Enugu Catholic Archdiocese, Rev. Fr Ejike Mbaka who in his New Year message described President Jonathan's administration as one that has been plagued with bad luck and poor performance.

In an interview with ThisDay newspaper, the CBCN President, Archbishop Ignatius Kaigam, said that Fr Mbaka's remarks does not represent the position of the Catholic Church in Nigeria. He said that Fr Mbaka was just one out of the 30million catholic faithfuls in Nigeria and that the position of the Catholic church on any matter of National importance is communicated only through the CBCN.

"There are more than 30 million Catholics in Nigeria, Fr Mbaka is just one Catholic, if he makes a statement, it cannot be the voices of more than 30 million Nigerian Catholics speaking. So Nigerians should avoid hasty generalisation. Mbaka cannot speak for the church, only the CBCN can speak for the church. Those who are complaining, should go to Fr Mbaka and find out why he is saying what he is saying. I tell you, even the Canon Law forbid a priest to engage in partisan politics,” Kaigama said
In a related development, the Catholic Bishop of Abuja Metropolitan, Cardinal John Onaiyekan has said that given the rules of the Catholic church, Rev. Fr Ejike Mbaka ought to be sanctioned following his remarks about President Goodluck Jonathan's administration.

“Mbaka will take responsibilities for his own actions. I do not believe in my mind that the way things are in Nigeria, any Catholic priest has the mandate to decide which of the political contestants should be voted for. What most of us will do is to tell people to vote according to their conscience and then, we tell the authorities to allow people to vote freely and fairly. I wouldn’t be surprised if most people are not happy with the statement he made. From my reactions, you should see that I do not agree with him. I don’t believe a priest should be doing that. But, like I said, Mbaka is a priest of his own type. If he was in my archdioceses, I will have sanctioned him long ago for the kind of things and utterances that he makes. But, he is not under my diocese; he has a Bishop to handle that if there is any need. I hope that people are not thinking that we are sending Mbaka to talk rubbish, how can they think that? If you want to hear anything even not official but at least, authoritative, then, you listen to the bishops. Rather than him and I don’t see any bishop talking that way” the Cardinal said

I will try and improve- Mercy Jonson's new year message to fans

Nollywood most featured actress and one of the highest paid in the business has this to say to her fans for sticking with her through 2014.
One of the best feelings one can have is the feeling that some people who have never met you in person have your back. I have experienced love from unimaginable people; Ghana, Liberia, Paris, UK, USA, Seychelles and all over the world.
Some met me crying, gave me gifts, took pictures, asked questions, and some, not so pleasant. But in all of these, I have no complaint because being where I am is a gift and privilege by God. A privilege and a place I never thought I would be, a few years ago.

This level has its own attendant consequence, as I take in the blessing; I appreciate the not-so-pleasant side as well. For this, I am grateful to God, my fans, and stakeholders in the industry who love me just the way I am.
I want to also say a very big thank you to my husband for giving me room to fly. Some men out there would probably have clipped my wings but Odi is not some kind of man. I want to say thank you for being so supportive and understanding.
I want to take this time to say thank you to everyone who made the journey of 2014 easier despite the attendant challenges. I am grateful to the marketers and my colleagues who stayed in touch with me even when I was pregnant, directors who were patient with me, fans who watched all the movies of 2014, those who took time out to search for me on Google, who corrected me in love and those who watched ‘30 Days in Atlanta’ (to make it biggest Nollywood movie in cinema history). I am also grateful to everyone who showed me one form of love or the other during the birth of our second son, Prince Henry: Nigerian Emabssy in the US, social media followers and my ever diligent media and management company, Bigsam Media.
I plan and hope that 2015 will be different from previous years. The jobs I will do will be slightly different from that of the past. I will take up more challenges. I will also have to balance things out because I still have to play the role of a wife and mother, but all in all, there should be a new Mercy Johnson of sort.
As per the style, I have received all your complaints and I will try and improve but please, do not forget I am just a down-to-earth-girl-next-door. Thank you.
And please, AMVCA is around the corner, let’s win again together this year, on how to vote, check @bigsammedia on Twitter.
As always I am grateful. I wish you the best this year has to offer. Happy New Year.

Bigsam Media
For: Mercy Johnson

"My Life Is In Danger" - Rev. Father Mbaka Cries Out after Bombarding Goodluck Jonathan

I know there will be plenty of follow up news to that new year's bombshell message by Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka, the Enugu Catholic priest and founder of the Adoration Ministry. The dramatic preacher yesterday raised the alarm that he has been receiving threat messages following his New Year's eve message where he said that Nigeria would be doomed if President Goodluck Jonathan is re-elected. This pastor is definitely more dramatic and controversial than Nollywood actor, Jim Iyke, who i happen to like by the way. Below, he stressed that he tried to reach out to the presidency and was turned down. My question is, if he was answered or kept in the circle of Jonathan's silent puppets, would he speak out, the answer is obvious my friends, NO!!! I see no reason why he wanted to reach out in the first place if God gave him a message to deliver.

In a sermon at the Christ the King Catholic Parish GRA, Enugu, yesterday, Rev. Mbaka said if such threats could move him, he would not even be standing before the congregation that morning.
According to SunNews, he declared:

“Tell them I am not afraid of them. I have said what I was asked to say. The only word I have for them is Isaiah 54:15,17: “Surely they shall gather, but because the gathering is not of God they shall scatter. No weapon fashioned against me shall prosper.
They said Buhari gave me money, but I have never met with Buhari. I don’t know him in person. I only delivered the message I was given and I stand by that message because the future of this country is bleak with Jonathan on the saddle.”

Mbaka said before he gave the December 31, 2014 message, he had called Mrs. Patience Jonathan severally but couldn’t get to her.

Said he:

“When she came here, I told her to give me her number so that I could give her messages, but thrice she refused. It was later she told one of the pastors with her to give me his number. So, before that message, I had called the number for two weeks but it was always the Personal Assistant to the pastor that picked the calls. “

Mbaka, who warned that Nigeria needed change, repeated that if Jonathan was re-elected for another tenure, “the next four years will be hell for the country. People are crying of hunger but then you will see what is hunger.”
