It was tears, sorrow and blood on Wednesday at the popular Monday market in Maiduguri, the Borno State capital as heavily armed men said to be members of the dreaded Islamic sect, Boko Haram, stormed the place and opened fire on innocent traders.
As at the time of posting, seven persons were confirmed dead while many sustained various degrees of injuries.
I hear the market has been deserted as the area has been taken over by men of the JTF.
