A family friend told us the marriage collapses many months back after the wife alleged on a daily basis that her husband had turned her to a punching bag.

You can’t even beat a slave the way Louis beats his wife. The woman couldn’t bear it anymore and had to run for her dear life’, a family friend confided.
Our source told us that Louis and Bola met at ThisDay Newspaper where both of them were working then.
After the wedding, Louis told Bola to stop working and be a full time housewife.
We learnt that as soon as Bola gave birth to the couple’s first child, Odion showed his true colour.
‘At any slightest provocation, Odion will pounce on her. The second child arrived and the beating did not stop. When Bola was even pregnant with their third child, Odion batters her the more. It’s a very pathetic story’, the source added.
We gathered that friends of the family, including Lagos Commissioner, Mr Tunji Bello waded into the family crisis many times and decided to step aside when Louis refused to stop battering his wife.
The source informed us that all the three kids are now in the custody of Louis Odion while Bola has also relocated from Lagos to an unknown destination.
Louis Odion, a cerebral and respected journalist worked with many media organisation including defunct Concord Newspaper, ThisDay Newspaper, Sun Newspaper and was the Managing Director of National Life Newspaper before taking up appointment in Governor Adams Oshiomole’s government as the Edo state Information Commissioner.
