JOYFUL MOMENTS AMID TEARS:More babies delivered in flood victims’ camp in Benue

It is all tears and joy in the camp of the displaced persons and victims of the flood disaster in Makurdi, Benue State capital following the birth 14 new babies in the refuge camp. It was gathered that both the mothers and the new born babies are all doing well., under proper medical attention by the state government. Meanwhile,the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) on Tuesday donated 700 bags of rice, household items, drugs and beverages worth N20 million to victims. Director General of NAFDAC, Dr. Paul Orhii, who made the cheerful donation after a tour of the flood sites and camps, sympathized with the victims and urged them to live in peace and harmony while the flood lasts. Orhii who is also an indegene of the state came in company of Mr. Abdulsalam Mohammed, North Central Zonal Coordinator of National Emergency Agency( NEMA) and the state SEMA boss, Adikpo Agbatse. He urged victims to bear with the state government as plans are in high gear to make life comfortable for them. Daily Post
