Misplaced priorities or Confused politicians? Or are they just looking for a way to plunge this country into debt?
The federal government in the person of the special advisor to the president on religious issues, yesterday, announced that the federal government has joined our muslim brothers in celebrating sallah by buying a ram they will kill when the time is due.
He further said this action was taken so as to support muslims and promote unity among the citizens.
The problem isn’t the fact that the federal government is looking for a way to make Nigeria better but because they are looking for a way to make themselves better and get Nigeria broke in the process.
Speaking with a human right activist,Prof Kolawole Longe,he said “this is outrageous! A ram for 3billion? Is it going to be our new national statue made from diamonds with golden horns? All these people are unserious.
Last time,they bought cake worth the money ASUU is asking for,now its this. Something must be done.”
All efforts to the reach the president on the matter have been in unsuccessful.
Though I won't want to believe this, because this is just a pure waste of money. 3billion rams for sallah, when Asuu they there on strike. Na wa for this country oooo.
