For the third consecutive time, Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Mallam Lamido Sanusi, at the weekend emerged the Central Bank Governor of the Year for the Sub-Saharan Africa.
The award, which was organised by Emerging Markets Magazine at the prestigious Willard Continental Hotel, Washington DC, United States of America, turned out to be the largest gathering of finance ministers and central bank governors from the emerging economies of Asia, Europe, Middle East and North Africa, South America and Sub-Saharan regions.
