The game is the last scheduled fixture for Gordon Strachan's side before their opening Euro 2016 qualification match against Germany on September 7.
The game goes ahead despite reports of an apparent match-fixing investigation by the National Crime Agency.
Strachan's side go into the clash on the back of a five-match unbeaten run, the most recent results being 1-0 away wins at Norway and Poland, while the Scots have kept clean sheets in their last four games.
Nigeria last 6 games
But it will be tough against opponents Nigeria, who were crowned champions of Africa last year and are also looking to build momentum ahead of their World Cup Group F campaign.
