APC Women’s leader Arrested for electoral fraud

According to reports coming from news24,the women’s leader of the opposition All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos West, Basirat Ojugbele, has reportedly been arrested after she was found in possession with thumb-printed electoral material.

According to reports, she was arrested at about 1215 (local time) in a bus with registration number FKJ-450XJ.Comment could not be obtained from police at the time of publication.

Police had ahead of the elections warned against misconduct during the eagerly-anticipated polls.

The two main contenders, the ruling People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and All Progressives Congress (APC) had in the run-up of the poll traded accusations of vote-rigging.
