The candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) for Nkanu East/Nkanu West Federal Constituency in Enugu State, Dr. Chukwuemeka Ujam, was on Saturday arrested by eagle eyed soldiers drafted to provide security for the presidential and National Assembly elections.
Ujam was arrested with over 4,000 Permanent Voter Cards. He was arrested by the soldiers at Ozalla in Nkanu West Local Government Area of Enugu State. However, after much pressure from the Enugu State Government House, Ujam was later released.
