Surgeons separate very rare conjoined twins

Surgeons at a British hospital have successfully separated conjoined twin baby girls in a complex and extremely rare operation. Sudan-born Rital and Ritag Gaboura are craniopagus twins, meaning they were born joined at the head.

Baby girls Rital and Ritag Gaboura, two conjoined twins, are seen at the world famous Great Ormond Street Hospital in London in April.

 British surgeons said Monday that one-year-old conjoined twins from Sudan were recovering well despite huge odds following four operations to separate the girls' fused heads
