Operatives of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Kwara State have arrested a man with human parts in Omu Aran town in the Irepodun Local Government Area of the state.
Parading the suspect in Ilorin yesterday, the state Commandant of the NSCDC, Al-Hassan Audu Akor, said the suspect, Ibrahim Abubakar, was arrested with some human parts, some of which allegedly belonged to a kidnapped Okada rider, John Olalekan.
The civil defence boss said, “on March 26, there was a report at our office in Oma-Aran that an Okada rider is missing. Immediately we heard that, we set our men in search of the victim. “We discovered the body on 28th at the back of Government Day Secondary School in a nearby bush.
Some parts of the body had been removed; the head and the right hand from the shoulder were cut off. The dead body was later taken to the mortuary”. Audu Akor said the suspect claimed to be a herbalist.
