Movie goers this weekend finally discovered what it takes to defeat The Avengers: Will Smith, Josh Brolin and a handful of aliens.
Indeed, Men in Black 3 grossed $55 million at the box office this weekend, slowing down the Marvel blockbuster a bit and forcing it into second place.

The Avengers still earned $37 million, of course, and blew past the $500 million barrier on Saturday, its 23rd day of release.
It now holds the record for fastest film ever to reach that mark. It’s earned $513.7 million overall.
