Psychologists Say Booze Boosts Creativity At Work?

The teetotaler movement isn’t know for its stable of creative geniuses, and now we know why. 

Psychologists at the University of Illinois have validated what every artist, musician and writer has known since ancient Greek times: a few cocktails can boost creativity.

 This helps to explain the counterintuitive success of the three-martini lunches on Madison Avenue in the 1960s, all the way to Silicon Valley tech startups today. 

It should be noted that alcohol mixed with mundane tasks — say data entry or operating heavy machinery – is still considered unproductive, not to mention highly dangerous.
