Osaze must stay,Baggies legend tells West Brom

WEST Bromwich Albion legend, Bob Taylor has warned the Baggies it must secure the future of its star striker, Osaze Odemwingie insting that the Nigerian lad must not be allowed to leaves the team  

Taylor reckons the striker is a key to Albion’s Premier League hopes and it would be foolish to sell him.Juventus and Arsenal have been linked with last season’s 15-goal top scorer, who cost just £1.5million from Lokomotiv Moscow last year.


And Taylor, who scored 131 goals in 377 appearances for Albion, believes the club needs to hang onto the hitman to cement West Brom in the top flight.“What’s the point in staying in the Premier League and then selling your best players or players who get you goals? There’s no point, we have to hold on to them.




“They are trying to negotiate a new contract so, hopefully, he’ll stay.“He was one of the finds of the season and was brilliant, his value has doubled or tripled and there’s interest in him.“We can’t lose players like him, we need players like him,”he said. Follow @todaysgist
