The Supreme Court has today Friday July 6, 2012 upheld the Senatorial election of Margery Chuba Okadigbo as the elected Senator of the Anambra –North Federal Constituency.
It will be recalled that the Senatorial seat of Anambra-North has been vacant for almost a year now following various legal actions over the seat.
Lady Margery Chuba Okadigbo is the wife of former Senate President, Late Chuba Okadigbo
Also, Dan Abia of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP and Solomon Ewuga of the Congress for Progressive Change, CPC representing both Eket Federal Constituency in Akwa-Ibom and Nasarawa North Federal Constituency, Nasarawa State respectively has both been declared winner the two senatorial seats.
