Information emerging from the Head of Immigration at the Nigerian High Commission in the UK, Mr Lawal Isah, has it that not less than 40 Nigerians arrived in Lagos on Wednesday in the monthly repatriation exercise jointly organised by the Nigerian High Commission and the UK Border Agency.
Speaking to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in London, Isah said that the returnees were in two categories — those without legal rights to remain in the UK and those who have been repatriated after having served various prison terms.
The diplomat said that two officials of the high commission and the UK Border Agency usually accompanied the returnees.
A similar exercise carried out last month also saw 40 Nigerian being repatriated from the UK and Ireland.
