Nigerian 'Gay' Man Jailed For Raping Woman In Ireland

 22 year old 'gay' Nigerian, Kenneth Udeh has been jailed for five years for raping a woman in Waterford city, Ireland.

Udeh met the woman while she was on a night out and raped her after offering her a lift home. The rape stopped when a passer-by scared him away.

Udeh with an address at Coffee House Lane, Waterford,  pleaded guilty to the rape of the woman in Waterford City on September 14th, 2014.

He came to Ireland in 2009 and had applied for and been refused asylum twice. He is now appealing his position to the Refugee Appeals Tribunal.

Garda Catriona Savage said that the first time Udeh applied for asylum he said he was a Christian coming from a Muslim country. The second time he claimed he was a homosexual coming from a Muslim country.

In a victim impact report read to the court the woman, who cannot be named, said Udeh “violated” and took “complete advantage of her”.

She said she felt like she didn't want to live after the rape and that she had nothing to live for. It put severe pressure on her relationship with her partner and it was only through his patience and understanding that the relationship survived, she wrote.

The woman wrote that she felt Udeh has given all black men a bad name and that she was now afraid of black men. She said she won't get into a taxi now if the driver was black.

“I feel he shouldn't be allowed remain in the country,” the woman added in her statement.

Savage told Tara Burns SC, prosecuting, that the victim, who was in her twenties, was out for the night in the city.

In the early hours of the morning she was outside a pub and got chatting to a group of men, including Udeh, who were smoking. She said goodnight to the men and was about to leave when Udeh offered her a lift home. The two then walked to where Udeh said his car was.

The woman said later that the next thing she remembered was being on the ground with Udeh on top of her with his trousers down. She shouted “stop it” and “get off me” but Udeh raped her. He did not wear a condom.

A local man was leaving work late when he saw Udeh and the woman and heard her shouts. He shouted at them causing Udeh to get up and flee. The man and a taxi driver gave chase but lost Udeh.

A female passer-by came to the aid of the victim and gardaí were called. They tracked down Udeh to a hostel near where the men had lost him. In interview he denied any sexual contact with the woman but this was contradicted by the forensic evidence.

Defence counsel Mary Rose Gearty SC said that he had written a “short and genuine apology” to the woman. Garda Catriona Savage said that she didn't think the victim would accept this.

Counsel said Udeh had been in custody since the offence and submitted that his time in prison would be more difficult for him due to his race and nationality.

Nigerian Woman on Holiday in America Arrested For Shoplifting(Photos)

 Quite a shame! Jennifer Akudihor who is on holiday in the US was arrested by Kansas city police department for allegedly shop lifting clothing items and accessories worth nearly $2,000 at Oak Park Mall in Kansas last week Tuesday.

According to KMBC.com, Police reports states that Jennifer who was with two toddlers and an infant when she was arrested, hid 66 items in shopping bags and inside the stroller she was pushing through Macy's at Oak Park Mall.

She has been charged with felony theft and ordered to hand over her passport. Jennifer was in court last Wednesday and her bail was set at $2,500. She was apologetic during her first court appearance.

“The officer in the report said that she was very apologetic and remorseful, and that does go a long way, and he put that in the report, so I think it does help in this situation. Everybody has a story. There’s always a lot of reasons why people do this, and it’s not for us to decide. It’s up to the courts and the judge to look at her case.” said Sgt. Gary Mason of the Overland Park Police Department.

Fraud : Nigerian Woman Uses Stolen Doctor ID To Secure MD Job

 A Nigerian lady who is music graduate with absolutely no medical background was given work as a doctor in a prison and a GP’s surgery after stealing the identity of a fully-qualified doctor who had the same first name.

Oluwadamilola Opemuyi treated no fewer than 91 patients before being ousted as a fraudster.

The 39-year-old tricked employment agencies into believing she was Oluwadamilola Adeyo – a General Medical Council (GMC) registered GP – by providing false documents stating she was fully qualified, before supplying Mrs Adeyo’s registration number.

She also used a fake driving licence, marriage certificate and passport as she found work treating patients in five separate locations.

Applying for a position at a surgery in Southend, she told the practice manager that both of her parents were doctors. When asked where she saw herself in five years time, she replied by saying she may retrain as a brain surgeon. She was not offered a job.

In January, Middlesex based agency Meddoc Locums were duped by her bogus documents, taking her word that she was a doctor and hiring her for jobs around Britain.

She was given a position working at Elmley Prison in Kent, where she’d negotiated a fee of £500-a-day. She’d previously asked elsewhere for £2,000-an-hour.

Working across both HMP Elmley and HMP Swaleside – where GP services are provided by Minster Medical Group – Opemuyi treated dozens of inmates, despite having no clue about the medical profession.

Before time, however, both prisons received complaints about her work. When she bypassed prison protocols by increasing an inmate’s opiate-based drug, her contract was terminated.

However, days later she turned up at Elmley’s healthcare wing once again. Prison officers told her to leave immediately.

Despite this, bosses at Meddoc Locums chose to give her another chance, and soon she was offered a day’s work at a GP’s surgery in Essex.

In that single shift she saw 21 patients, even issuing a death certificate at a care home.

She then worked at a health centre in Liverpool, where she dealt with another 25 patients. At a second surgery in the city she saw a further 25, two of them on home visits.

However, after more complaints about Opemuyi’s work, Meddoc opted to cut ties and offered her no more work.

The ‘delusional’ fraudster – whose father is a gynaecologist and mother a paediatrician – was eventually caught out when she presented two forged prescriptions at Boots chemist in Maidstone.

When arrested, she declared: ‘I am a doctor and I wrote them myself.’

Opemuyi today admitted her guilt to four offences of fraud, two of possessing false identity documents and three of forgery, moments before she was due to stand trial.

Maidstone Crown Court heard that the University of West London music, technology and public relations graduate duped agencies into getting her work by assuming the identity of a fully qualified doctor and using false documents.

Prosecutor Ryan Richter said Opemuyi set out on her criminal course after failing in her bid to become registered with the General Medical Council (GMC) in December.

After telling the regulatory body that she was thinking of doing a master’s degree in mental health, the council informed her that qualification alone would not be sufficient, and that she’d have to complete five years at medical school during which it was required for her to obtain degrees in medicine and surgery.

It was on the back of this rejection that her fraudulent activities began.

‘She was to use Dr Adeyo’s GMC registration number, utilising the similarity in their names as part of her deception of a number of agencies,’ said Mr Richter.

‘Miss Opemuyi conducted a brazen, sustained and intelligent campaign of forgery and fraud in order to obtain employment in a specialist profession in which the public place the highest degree of trust, when she was without appropriate training or experience.’

As well as a fake GMC registration certificate, Opemuyi was also presenting a forged driving licence, passport and marriage certificate – all of which she used when telling one employment agency she’d been offered a job paying £450,000-a-year.

Mr Richter said the total amount she defrauded was £8,916 and she was jailed this morning for two years and four months.

After sentencing, police inspector Ivan Beasley said: ‘These were very serious offences committed by a woman who went to great lengths to gain employment as a doctor despite not having the necessary qualifications to do so.

‘In total she treated 91 patients, all of whom have since been contacted by the NHS. They will no doubt have been alarmed and concerned to hear of Opemuyi’s actions, as was the legitimate doctor whose identity she stole in order to commit her crimes.

‘This was a complex investigation and I would like to pay tribute to my team of officers who worked extremely hard to get to the bottom of the case and bring Opemuyi to justice.’

Nigerian Man Jumps To His Death During Drug Raid In India

 A 35 year old Nigerian man Obyeka Anwanbukwa suspected to be involved in drugs peddling died on Saturday September 13th after jumping from the window of a third floor flat from a high rise (pictured above) during a drug raid in Akash Bhavan in the Bhaunagar area of Pimple Gurav in India

According to reports, a joint team of India's Narcotic Control Bureau, NCB, and some police officers, stormed the apartment where the deceased and his other Nigerian friends were staying around 8 on Saturday night and while being interrogated, Obyeka allegedly ran off and jumped from the 3rd floor of the building. He died of his injuries a few hours later. Continue...

"He tried to flee when asked about his involvement in drug peddling and jumped out of the window. He suffered injuries in the legs and other parts of the body and was immediately rushed to the Aundh District Hospital. After primary treatment, doctors declared him to be normal and the NCB team left for Mumbai with him. However, he complained of feeling unwell, following which he was brought back to the hospital, where he died during treatment around midnight," SPI Saifan Mujavar of the Sangvi Police station said. 

His Nigerian friends are demanding for a thorough investigation into the cause of his death. A Nigerian, Bob Frany said "Police should submit his autopsy report to the Nigerian Embassy and also investigate the matter properly," 

Indian Police has however registered a case of accidental death under Section 174 (police to inquire and report on unnatural death) of the Criminal Procedure Code in India.

His body is presently at the Sassoon General Hospital and a post mortem is expected to be done on him today. Source

9 Nigerian Students Abducted In Ukraine

  9 Nigerian students, were this week, kidnapped in the Ukrainian city of Lugansk.

Ukrainian news agencies say militants abducted the Nigerian students on Monday and have been holding them as prisoners at an occupied government security building. The city is deep inside rebel-held territory, close to the Russian border.

Colonel Andriy Lysenko(pictured above) a spokesman for Ukraine's National Security and Defense Council, on Wednesday told a news conference that negotiations are underway to free the abducted Nigerian students. That people with experience conducting negotiations were now making contact with what he called "the terrorists."  Adding that Ukrainian officials hoped the talks would end "successfully in the near future."

Separatists seeking greater autonomy have been waging a bloody battle in eastern Ukraine against the government. Source

Shocking : Nigerian Teenager Arrested After His Mum Is Found Seriously Injured And His Younger Brother Dead In Their Home

 An 18-year old Nigerian teenager has been arrested after his mum was found seriously injured and his younger brother found dead beside her at their home in Dix Hill, Long Island, New York City.

Their dad returned home on Saturday night July 19th to discover 15 year old Bradley Okonkwo (pictured centre) dead in their apartment, and his wife, Dr Chinwe Okonkwo (pictured left) suffering from severe head wounds. He immediately called the police who arrived the scene shortly afterwards.

Charles Okonkwo jnr (pictured right), who'd left the home shortly after the incident, was eventually arrested near the family home, and has been charged for attacking his mother. He is yet to be charged for his brother's death, though he confessed to 'hurting his mother and his brother'.

 Dr Okonkwo is currently receiving treatment at Stony Brook University Hospital, but is said to be in serious condition. She sustained serious trauma including facial fractures and loss of consciousness. She had been badly beaten.

Charles Jnr is said to have a history of psychiatric issues and the family had been trying to help him before the vicious attack.

During his arraignment yesterday, Charles kept his head down throughout and did not enter a plea.

Nigerian Female Student Found Dead In Her Hostel Room In South Africa

  Naizi Evah,(pictured above) a Nigerian third year Computer Systems Engineering student of Vaal University of Technology, South Africa was found dead on Saturday May 24th 2014, in her hostel room, this is according to her friends who are trying to get the media involved in the case. 

 One of her friends who reached out to me said prior to her death, Naizi had been in an abusive relationship with a Zimbabwean student, who also studies in same school with her, studying same course. The unidentified man was arrested by police in connection with Naizi's death but was bailed two days after police said they couldn't find any substantial evidence linking him to her death.

Her friends say the boyfriend had been emotionally and physically abusive towards Naizi, beat her severally and even threatened to kill her.

 They say Naizi got tired of the abuse and broke things off with the man and told close friends she was done with him but he kept on trying to get her back/

 Her friends believe she was murdered but don't know by who and want the Nigerian authorities to get involved as they don't believe they will get justice for Naizi with South African police. Naizi was from Edo State and was only 20 years of age. Source: LindaIkeji

Cry For Help!!! : Nigerian Students In Malaysia Cry For justice, Write Open Letter

 Nigerian Students studying in Malaysia have written an open letter to President Jonathan, pleading with him to intervene in what they described as the continued injustice meted on them by the Malaysian police authorities. 

The students under the aegis, National Association of Nigerian Students Asia, in their letter which was signed by the President of the association, Prince David O.C Nwaogwugwu, cataloged cases of undue police harassment faced by some Nigerian students and also accused the Nigerian Consulate staff in Malaysian of being non-nonchalant towards the harassment and victimization they have faced in recent times.

Nwaogwugwu said;

"Nigerians are now constantly being duped of their tuition fees and falsely accused of crimes not committed by the institutions they study in, their apartments being regularly raided even without warrants, blackmailed and set up for the purpose of extortion, falsified evidence accepted by judges against them in courts which are presented by the police and prosecutors, deported by the immigration authorities for the failure of the institutions of learning and the same immigration departments who fail to quickly process the renewal of Visa for these Nigerian students who have handed in their passports for weeks, months and even years.

"There are several cases where police officers in connivance with school security personnel’s, local and foreign agents and lawyers go after students who they believe have financial backing at home. They blackmail such students and threaten to put them in trouble if they do not pay certain amounts of money. Some of the students who refuse to be oppressed by such threats are then arrested, taken to court and false evidence presented against them. In the courts, the prosecutors do not allow the students to speak in protest or self defense. The proceedings in Malaysia courts against Nigerian students are carried out in the Malaysia language of which Nigerians schooling in Malaysia are not mandated by any law to study Malay and therefore do not understand what the prosecutors are telling the judge or what the judge is saying to the court” he said.

Some of the cases involving Nigerian students includes

Among the cases listed by Nwaogwugwu was that of Nkem Okpa, a research student who was detained for 11 days on mere suspicions three years ago.

There were other cases:

1. Gabriel (2010): Arrested on the street and thrown into a bus with some people who had been arrested for drug possession. He had never met the other people arrested with him before. Gabriel was in Sungai Buloh Prisons until 2013 when the culprit pleaded guilty. Gabriel’s entire life has been ruined for nothing.

2. Oyewole (2013): Student arrested for not being in possession of his passport which had been submitted to his school for visa renewal. The Police went ahead to carry away cloths and electronics in his apartment.

3. Segun (2013): House mate to Oyewole. They were arrested together and their possessions stolen by the police.

4. Adeniji (2013): A student arrested and deported while his passport had been submitted to school for renewal.

5. Victor (2013) Student arrested on the school campus for being in possession of drugs he knew nothing about. His house mate confirmed he was set up. In court, the police presented false evidence against Victor. Victor refusing to be blackmailed by the schools security and the police inspector in charge of the case spent about 3 months in remand until his parents told him to plead guilty and be done with it. The High commission was informed but nothing was done about it.6. Bartholomew (2013): Arrested for a crime he knew nothing about. Evidence and witnesses prove his innocence but he is still locked up in Jail and the Nigerian High Commission is saying nothing.-Body Number : 313….

7. Umar Garkida (2013): Arrested from his hostel, false evidence of drugs presented in court against him. He has refused to be intimidated to plead guilty and has been in jail since November while the High commission and his school are silent.

8. Fahat Sanda (2013): Arrested from his hostel, false evidence of drugs presented in court against him. He has refused intimidation, refused to plead guilty to a crime not committed and so has been in jail since November. The school and High commission are silent.

9. Umar (2014): Arrested from in front of his hostel by the police. Asked for his passport which he had submitted to the school for renewal of Visa, he stated his case and presented his ID as the Student Rep President alongside his student ID, but the police insisted on arresting him unless he paid some bribe. Umar called Mr Banum the head of the school security to come and identify him as the Student Rep President, but he never came. The police officer then arrested Umar and took him to the station and threatened to put him in trouble. Umar then succumbed to the threat and paid Rm300 to regain his freedom on the spot. On returning to the school premises, Umar confronted Mr Banum to know why he refused coming to identify him but there was no response.

 He then requested that the money he paid be refunded of which Mr Banum said he will refund him and write a petition against the officer in question. Till date, nothing has been heard about the issue.

10.. Several Nigerian students in February 2014 were arrested within their school premises by the police and immigration personnel’s for not being in possession of their documents which had been submitted to the school and hence immigration for renewal. The School ignored these students for about 2weeks to suffer in detention and the High Commission did nothing.

Nwaogwugwu also listed in the letter death cases involving Nigerians

1. Onoche Martins (March 2012): Master degree student. Killed by Malaysian Police personnel’s after he allegedly outraged the modesty of a 43year old lady by hugging, kissing and exposing himself by 11am. These accusations do not make sense to any sane being. Nothing has been heard from the Nigerian High Commission.

2. Solomon Okolo (March 2013): Student from Delta state. Killed by Malaysian citizens in the presence of Malaysian police officers after crashing his vehicle. His wife was at the scene of the incident and to date, nothing has been heard about that case or the culprits. The High commission is silent.

3. Tunde Adelabu (March 2014): A Student Killed by Malaysia policemen who ran away after shooting him. Later on, the policemen came back and arrested Tunde’s friend who had witnessed the shooting. Today, nobody knows where this boy has been taken to or if he is still alive. The school he attended are now denying he was ever their student. The High commission is still silent.

4. In India on the 25th of March 2014, Two Nigerians were found stabbed on Devli Road, New Delhi. One of them succumbed to injuries and died while the other is at the AIIMS Trauma Centre.

5. In Malaysia, a Nigerian died in detention camp sometime in March. The Nigerian High Commission was invited for the burial or which they attended without contacting the family of this Nigerian. The family of this Nigerian back home believes their son is alive somewhere. The High Commission should give reasons for their action

The students are asking that Mr President intervene in the matter.

Woolwhich k*llers : Two Nigerians, Michael Adebolajo And Adebowale Found Guilty Of M*rder In The UK

 Two Nigerians residing in the Uk, Michael Adebolajo (left) and his friend, Michael Adebowale (right) have been found guilty of the m*rder of a British soldier, Lee Rigby. 

 The deceased was 25 years old and was attacked by the Muslim extremists on May 22nd outside his military barracks in Woolwich South London.

 They first run the soldier down with their car while he was returning from an errand, then mutilated and nearly beheaded him in a crime that happened in broad day light.

It took the jury only 90 minutes to come back with a guilty verdict. Adebolajo reportedly kissed the Koran and smiled as the verdicts were read but Adebowale didn't react. They will both be sentenced next month.

SHOCKING : Nigerian Man Found D*ad In His Boston Apartment, Joins Growing List Of Strange De*ths(READ)

 A 57-year-old Nigerian, identified has Mr. Benjamin Chibuogwu was found d*ad in his apartment on Saturday in Lowell, Massachusetts, USA.

 He his a native of Awka in Anambra State, Mr. Chibuogwu recently attended the Awka Convention in New Jersey over the Thanksgiving weekend.

Mr. Chibuogwu body was found three days after he died. The gruesome discovery was made when his brother who lives in Seattle, Washington, could not reach him over the phone for three days, he then alerted a friend who went to Mr. Chibuogwu’s house with the landlord and found his body.

Mr. Chibuogwu, who is divorced and lived alone, is survived by five kids - three girls and two boys.

Chibuogwu popularly known as "Benny Chuks" briefly played professional soccer with Vasco Da Gama Football Club of Enugu before coming to the United States.

The Boston community is having a wake for him on Saturday, December 13, 2013 at St. John’s Evangelist Parish in North Chelmsford, Massachusetts, after which his body would be taken back to Nigeria for burial.

Earlier this year, Elias Onyechi, a ther 60-year-old Nigerian man based in  Lowell,  was also found dead in his apartment. Elias Onyechi, from Ogidi in Anambra state, was also divorced with five children. He was buried in Lowell.

This summer too another Nigerian, 54-year-old Sonny Asoa, formerly resident of Lowell, died in Revere, Massachusetts. He, too, was living alone after divorcing his wife.

''Nigerians Are Like Cancer'' – Minister Says

 A rivalry war between drug dealers in Goa, India, has led to the brutal m*rder of a Nigerian citizen as reported earlier.

Goan Police officials claim the man was stabbed to d*ath last week during a rivalry war between Goan citizens and Nigerian drug traffickers while local media reports said the Nigerian was hacked to death by a group of Goan drug traffickers, while five other Nigerians suffered stab wounds.

Nigeria told India on Tuesday that it feared for the safety of its nationals in the resort state of Goa after one of its citizens was slain and a local legislator compared Nigerians to “cancer”.

Nigeria’s High Commission called the death a “cold-blooded” killing.

After the murder, over 200 Nigerians took to the street to protest the killing of their fellow citizen, chasing a police hearse carrying the corpse of the dead Nigerian and putting the body on the road. 53 of the protesters were arrested by Goan Police officials.

Following the demonstration, which blocked Goa’s main highway for several hours, Goa’s chief minister Manohar Parrikar asked police to track down Nigerians living illegally in the former Portuguese colony so that they could be deported.

After the protest, a minister in the state’s Hindu nationalist Bharatiya Janata Party government, Dayanand Mandrekar, stirred more controversy by saying: “Nigerians are like cancer”.

Nigeria’s High Commission issued a diplomatic note and demanded on Tuesday that the security of its nationals be assured. It also called for the immediate arrest of those who killed its citizen.

“We have lost one of our nationals in a cold-blooded m*rder,” Nigerian High Commission press spokesman Tokunbo Falohun told the Press Trust of India.

“The guilty should be immediately apprehended and brought to justice and they should also compensate the family of the victim,” the envoy said.

The previous day, another High Commission official warned of repercussions against Indians living in Nigeria if Goa did not stop “evicting Nigerians” from the state and failed to arrest the killers.

Asked if there will be any “repercussions” from the murder, Falohun said Tuesday there would be none if the matter was “justifiably” dealt with by Indian authorities.

“There is a large Indian community working in Nigeria. There are two temples in Lagos and all Indians have freedom to worship and for their other activities. We also are demanding the same,” Falohun said.

Meanwhile, India’s foreign ministry spokesman Syed Akbaruddin said in New Delhi that he was sure that the row could be settled “amicably”.

“We have been assured that the investigation (into the murder) is underway,” he said.

Insult to injury. Can you imagine them comparing Nigerians to cancer.

There are millions of Indians living and working in Nigeria today especially in Lagos state.

Nigerians are graceful people that accommodate people from all over the world

Nigerians Abroad Block Indian Road In Protest Of A Dead Colleague(PHOTO)

 About 200 Protesters comprising of Nigerian and other African nationals, blocked the National Highway 17 on the outskirts of Goa, India, today in protest of the death of a still to be identified Nigerian.

According to reports, the incident happened when a gang descended at Parra where many Nigerians reside in the country in four and two wheeler vehicles and attacked a group of Nigerians with weapons. Some of the Nigerians were on bikes when they were attacked. One was hit with a dagger severally that he breathed his last, while five others were injured in the attack before the assailants fled from the scene.

Other Nigerians, who rushed to the spot on hearing about the ghastly murder, refused the police to take the body for post mortem demanding that the assailtants be arrested first.

“The body was being taken to the Goa Medical College morgue in an ambulance when a mob of Africans stopped it and pulled the corpse out at Porvorim,” a police official said.

After removing the body from the van, the protesters dropped the corpse on the road demanding justice to be done – this led to huge traffic jam on the outskirts of the Goa capital.

Cries Of African Migrants: How Nigerians Risk Their Lives Abroad

I was deeply saddened to hear of the crash of a plane carrying 20 people shortly after take-off from Lagos airport in Nigeria. The Associated Airlines plane was bound for Akure, which lies about 140 miles (225km) north-east of Lagos that Thursday morning. It was indeed a breaking news that was heartbreaking. I felt pain in my heart because i know what the pain of losing a loved one is, even though i don’t know those that were involved. I was still reeling from the loss of life in the air mishap, little did i know that another disaster has equally happened.

A boat crammed with about  500 African migrants has just capsized. About 111 dead bodies have been found, 155 people have been pulled out alive, but more than 200  are said to be trapped in the dreaded Mediterranean sea. Among the dead bodies that were brought ashore were three children and two pregnant women. At dawn, there were some sort of awful scene as those bodies from the sea were almost all naked or bare-chested, as they stripped down to remain afloat,still they could not make it. Majority of those who perished were from war ravaged countries viz, Somali, Eritrea and some fraction of  sub Saharan African countries.

Where I am based in Europe, A Nigerian was wailing and crying because he received a phone call from Libya that his younger brother was in the boat that sank. We told him not to conclude yet that his brother might be among those that survived. No amount of words could make him stop crying. However, it has been confirmed that his brother was among the dead because his friend that succeeded  has called home and informed their family about the incident.

According to a survivor, The 20m (66ft) boat began taking on water when its motor stopped working as it was approaching Lampedusa-a tiny Italian island on Thursday morning. To attract the attention of passing ships someone in the boat set fire on a blanket only to have the fire spread to the rest of the boat. The vessel began to sink when everyone moved to one side. This is the worst ever Mediterranean refugee tragedy in recent time. Previously, in 1996 also in the Italian coast a migrant boat cap-sized with 283 lives lost. On the subject of known ship wreck, more than 25,000 people have died trying to reach Italy from North Africa, and when you add that of Morocco to Spain the number could double. In July 2008, a Nigerian man aged 30 narrated how he threw his two children overboard after they died of starvation and dehydration in a migrant boat that was bound for Italy.

In my previous article titled “How Nigerian Girls Are Forced Into Prostitution Through Satanic Initiation And Blood Covenant” which you can find on NaijaGists.com, i made mention of the trend in which human trafficking trade has plunged into. Now it is all about ritual and voodooism. Sacrifices are made even with human blood to make their business prosperous. Sometime ago some traffickers flung 12 human sacrifice from their boat in a voodoo ritual in other to calm stormy sea. The victims were human being like them, those who left their respective family back home. A witness and a survivor gave Police an horrific account of how human “sacrifices” were picked by the Nigerian “Captain” from a ship that has 400 on board after the engine failed. Some of the voodoo ladies were  performing a macabre dance before the victims were flung into the sea to calm the sea and appease the devil. Human trafficking is really thriving and those in the trade have a well co-ordinated network, a nexus that runs from Nigeria to North Africa through sub Sahara Africa and then to Europe. The migrants are compelled to pay the sum which ranges from $1000 – $2000 dollars before they push them into the boat to Europe.

Despite the news everywhere about the dangers of traveling to Europe by desert, you would still find Nigerians taking this great risk just to fulfill their dream of coming to Europe where they think that  one can pick money from the street. Many have met their Waterloo in this treacherous journey which is often fruitless. Statistically only about 45% have succeeded. Many have died without the knowledge of their parents and their dead bodies have become food to the fishes in the sea.

The fishermen in the Mediterranean coast are complaining about the decline in their business because the high number of dead bodies in the sea is obstructing their net. There is a woman who hasn’t heard from the son who left home 8 years ago. She still believes that her son would return home someday.

Whenever she hear that someone has just returned from oversea, she would go and look for the person and ask him or her about her son. “Abeg you see my pikin? Osamudiame.” That is what she always ask. I pity the poor woman and i pray that her son should still be alive. Our people do say that a dead person is far better than a lost one.

Life in Europe is no longer rosy, Italy as a country is having a great challenge. There is no job. Unemployment is a major concern. Most Nigerians are begging to survive, those that are ashamed of begging are in the streets selling drugs. If they are caught they will be sent to jail. The lazy ones attach themselves to the ladies that prostitute. The lady feed and cloth the “fine bobo” from what she gets from her prostitution business. Any guy who cannot perform well on bed with these ladies are ineligible in the clique.

It is good to note that as soon as a migrant enters the shore of Italy he or she would be taken to a reception center and his or her details would be taken including the “finger print” which will make it impossible for any migrant to leave Italy to any other European country because once your finger print is seen in the European centralized system you would be returned back to Italy. I have seen many Nigerians who were doing fine back home in Europe moving from one country to another without any headway. He that has ear let him hear.

Nigerian Girl Murdered In Abidjan

 A Nigerian girl, Queen Ebimaho, was on Aug. 24, found d*ad in a pool of blood inside her room in a brothel in Ajame, Abidjan, Ivory Coast.

Eyewitnesses told reporters that the corpse of the girl who had only arrived Abidjan about two months ago had a series of punctures.

 She is said to have been brought into the country by a Nigerian lady identified as Joy Larry.

  Nigerian girls who are regularly trafficked into the country take to pro*tit*tion as a means of survival.

 Although no case of death has occurred in the past six months, many of the girls face undue harassment and intimidation from men who patronise them.

Meanwhile some Nigerians residing in Ajame who spoke to journalists have accused the Consular Officer in the Nigerian Embassy, Mr Obinna Ogbonna of treating issues concerning Ebimaho’s death with levity.

 They accused the consular officer of failing to make official report to the relevant authorities in the host country to ensure adequate investigations into the cause of the dead.

According to them, the embassy also refused to play any role in the burial of the dead Nigerian in spite of repeated calls on the consular officer.

When contacted, Ogbonna confirmed the death of the Nigerian, saying: “she died from injuries that looked like stabs from a yet to be identified person, “We took the matter officially to the Ivorian police and we were told that she was stabbed.

“But the girl in question has no consular card, our investigations show that she is just about two months old in the country,’’ he said.

 Her corpse has been taken back to Nigeria for burial, by a fellow Nigerian identified as Osas, who also resides in Ajame without any official information to the embassy.

DECEITE : What Aspiring Nigerian Footballers And Students Go Through In Europe

When Jinaid Nigeria for Tajikistan last year, he thought he was traveling to Central Asia to pursue a career in professional soccer.

 But the 21-year-old’s adventure didn’t turn out quite as planned.

 After spending hundreds of dollars to fulfill his dream, Jinaid is now stranded in Dushanbe with no job and no money.

 “Now, I’m struggling without doing anything,” Jinaid said.

 “I’m hungry, my visa has expired, no job to do.” Jinaid is among a group of at least 10 Nigerians who have traveled to Tajikistan in the past three years, seeking to join soccer clubs and make a decent living.

 Some of them did play for Tajik teams, but they complain that what they got fell far short of expectations. Alleged Afghan middleman They have sued an Afghan national living in Dushanbe for allegedly acting as a middleman and luring them to the country on false pretenses.

 The alleged middleman, Hamidullah Abdulmannon, has been charged on suspicion of scamming the would-be footballers. He is also accused of promising other young Nigerians places at Tajik universities.

 Afghan national Hamidullah Abdulmannon says the Nigerians are ganging up against him, with no basis for the allegation that he was an unethical broker. Jinaid says he traveled to Tajikistan along with three other Nigerian players.

 “(Abdulmannon told) my coach in Nigeria that there is a football team here which is looking for good players, so our coach got in touch with us (and told) us that he had an offer for us: to come down to Tajikistan,” Jinaid says. “We paid money to my coach.

 I paid $700.” But in Tajikistan, Abdulmannon is alleged to have forced Jinaid to pay another $1,500 for what he called “university fees,” telling the player he would be deported if he didn’t pay.

 “So I had to call my parents and I (said) the scenario has changed,” Jinaid says. “We came here as football players without knowing that we were invited as students. They asked us to pay school fees of $1,500.

 So they sent the money to Hamidullah.” ‘No more claims’ Jinaid claims Abdulmannon brought the four Nigerian soccer players to the club Zarafshon Panjakent, based in northern Tajikistan.

 He says they were proposed a four-month contract that included a monthly salary, apartment allowance, and other benefits. After playing for the club for five months without receiving any salary, Jinaid says, the footballers complained to the Tajik Football Federation.

 “The federation wrote a letter to the president of the club.

 ‘OK,’ they said, they are going to pay the money,” Jinaid says. “Out of the $3,200 which they had to pay, they only paid $300 for each player.”

 Tajik Football Federation official Nurali Khorkashev confirmed that the federation had received complaints from the Nigerian players last year and instructed Zarafshon Panjakent to pay the money it owed to the foreign players.

 Khorkashev adds that the payment has been made by the club. Zarafshon Panjaken’s head coach, Jamshed Bahronov, says the Nigerian players were paid in full, including food and accommodation. He says that “after the club representative handed over the payment to the players they signed a letter for us that they have no more claims over our club.”

 Dennis Tahgbok had a similar experience. The 21-year-old says he came to Dushanbe in March 2012 along with five other Nigerian football players.

 Tahgbok played center for eight months at Hosilot Farkhor, a club based in the Farkhor district that borders Afghanistan, without receiving any salary. He has been surviving in Tajikistan with the financial help of his parents.

 Fine print? But after complaining to the Tajik Football Federation, Tahgbok says he learnt that the Russian-language contract that Abdulmannon signed on his behalf mentioned tuition but not salary.

 A Tajik football expert says it is common for players in Tajikistan to not get paid for months. Exceptions are a handful of top clubs.

 Alleged middleman Abdulmannon was detained last month but released on June 19 after the Interior Ministry said the Afghan Embassy in Dushanbe guaranteed he would not leave the country. Abdulmannon, a student at the Avicenna Tajik State Medical University, rejects the accusations against him and counters with allegations of his own.

 “I know a person from Nigeria named Kaliz.

 He was my English teacher,” Abdulmannon says. “I saw all these (Nigerians) with him in Kaliz’s home and he introduced them to me. They all are from one country and I am from another.

 They want to trick me.

 Their visas have expired and they understand that if they accuse someone while they are having troubles, the Tajik government will forgive them and prolong their visas.”

 Meanwhile, would-be players Tahgbok and Jinaid remain stranded in Dushanbe, uncertain of the future as their parents’ patience and money dwindles.

 “Now our parents are tired about us calling them to send money, send money, send money for us,” Tahgbok says.

 “They are expecting something from us (and) they are still the ones sending money. They have suffered a lot.”
