Senator Ahmed Yerima was interviewed on Channels TV yesterday to shed light on why he is in support of child marriage.
The senator is astonished by the outrage of Nigerians towards his belief that even young girls are fit for marriage.
According to him, a girl is ready for marriage whenever her parents deems fit to do so.
He stood his ground even while being grilled by the show presenter and added the little titbit that his own teenage daughter is set to be married this year.
