Alaka Deburah Uzoma, 47, was found with 1.180 kilogrammes of cocaine as she inserted 260 grammes of substance in her private part and also ingested 60 wraps weighing 920 grammes.

The second suspect, Mrs. Chukwujekwu Chinyere Priscilla, 45 was caught with 1.455 kilogrammes of cocaine as she packed 59 wraps on her body, inserted one parcel weighing 1.285 kilogrammes in her vagina and ingested ten wraps weighing 170 grams.
They both claimed they ventured in to drug trafficking because their husbands abandoned them.They were en route China.
They should be ashmed of the shame and disgraced they have brought to themselvs and their family.

SHOCKING!!! Five-Year-Old Boy Tests Positive For Cocaine

Hard drugs like Cocaine have been known to cause various havoc to matured adults and hence they are barred but it is shocking that a 5 year old boy belonging to the above couple tested positive to cocaine.The kid was found with a bag of the class A drug in his parents car. Police found the youngster in Ventura County, California, while investigating his dad Marco Cuevas over alleged cocaine deals and knew something was wrong with him.

His father, Cuevas, 31 was later found with several ounces of cocaine on him, with another half-pound found in the car, while is mom Sandy, 29 looked on.

$10,000 was also found on his father, which is believed to be suspected drug proceeds. The couple were both arrested on the spot. Guns seized: Some of the firearms police say were found at the Cuevos’ house
A search of the couple’s home also turned up cannabis, hundreds of prescription pills, and another $75,000 in cash. 16 guns and 3,000 rounds of ammunition were also recovered from their home.

The five-year-old boy has however been taken into protective custody along with two other children.
Both Mr and Mrs Cuevas have been accused of selling, conspiracy to sell cocaine and child endangerment.

Ceuvas is being held in custody on $1 million bail, while his wife has been released on bail and awaiting trial.

Greedy Business Woman Who Invested N2.3m In Cocaine Business Caught

This is greed at its best. How can someone who has N2.3M to invest on a business choose to invest in cocaine business?Definitely she wants to live in a big house and drive good cars as soon as possible.I hope she will do all that in prison .

A 38-year-old business woman, Ulomma Ezeji, made a confession on how she invested a whopping sum of N2.3m into buying cocaine with the hope that she would make profit from the sales.

Ezeji was arrested at the departure hall of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos and made this confession to officials of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency after her arrest.

Ezeji who was on her way to turkey was caught with 645 grammes of cocaine hidden in her hand bag during the outward screening of passengers on a Turkish airline flight. The flight was Turkey-bound.

Mr. Hamza Umar, NDLEA Airport Commander, confirmed the arrest.

He said, “Ezeji was found in possession of powdery substance that tested positive to cocaine on her way to Turkey.

“We also gathered that she had invested N2.3m into the drug  business in anticipation of making high profit. The drug, which was carefully hidden in her hand bag, was detected during screening of passengers.”

Ezeji, a native of Imo state, said she was convinced by her boyfriend to invest in drug trafficking because of the high profit in it.

She said, “I am a trader. I import ladies hand bags, shoes and clothes, but I make little profit in my business. My boyfriend told me that I can make four times my capital in one successful drug deal.

“He has been persuading me for long. I decided to give it a trial to expand my capital base. I invested N2.3m in the deal.

“Somebody was to receive the drug in Turkey and give me my share of the money with which I had planned to buy goods in France.”

The NDLEA Chairman, Mr. Ahmadu Giade, said that those who wished to make money from drug trafficking would end up like Ezeji.

 He said, “The agency is not oblivious of the tricks employed by drug traffickers. As the end of the year approaches, we are prepared to counter all plans of drug cartels. Anyone planning to smuggle drugs in anticipation of becoming rich will only end up in prison.”

Drugs Agency Arrests London Bound Suspects With 175 Wraps Of Cocaine

Hardly any week goes by at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport Lagos without witnessing the arrest of suspected drug couriers as two suspects, Ugochukwu Nwafor and Chidozie Okonkwo were recently arrested by law enforcement agents there for attempting to smuggle 2.880 kg of a substance believed to be cocaine out of the country.

The duo were found to have ingested 175 wraps of the hard drug during the screening of outbound passengers on a British Airways flight to London.

According to the commander of the National Drug Law Emnforcement Agency at the MMIA, Mr. Hamza Umar, while confirming the arrest, said the suspects were caught after an alarm was triggered by the scanning machines.

“The suspects tested positive to drug ingestion and were placed under observation. Nwafor ingested 73 wraps of cocaine weighing 1.395kg while Okonkwo ingested 102 wraps weighing 1.485kg. They were detected on the same flight,” Hamza said.

Nwafor, 37, a phone dealer at the computer village, Ikeja, who resides at Igando, said a friend lured him into the business. “I used to be a successful businessman until I made a wrong investment three years ago in which I lost over N3.5m in China. As a result of the loss, I became indebted and was lured into drug trafficking by a friend,” Nwafor confessed.

Okonkwo, who claimed to have a Master’s degree in Innovative Management from the British Institute of Technology and E-Commerce in London and resides in East London blamed his lack of a job for his present predicament: “I was only trying to make ends meet. I live in East London where I had my post-graduate studies but joblessness turned me into another man. It was a tough decision for me to smuggle drugs but I really needed the £5000 I was offered. I feel bad that things have turned this way for me. It is like a dream.”

Both suspects who are said to be cooperating with narcotic investigators, would have been paid £4,000 (Nwafor) and £5,000 (Okonkwo), respectively had they successfully trafficked the drugs into Britain.

Chairman/Chief Executive of the NDLEA, Ahmadu Giade attributed the involvement of a master’s degree holder in drug trafficking to moral decadence. “Parents should inculcate good morals in their children; I urge members of the public to eschew drug trafficking by joining the anti-drug abuse and trafficking crusade. Arrangements are in place for the suspects to be charged in line with the NDLEA Act,” he said.

Cocaine Hidden In Pendants Found At Lagos Airport(photos)

 Oluigboka Chukwuemeka Emmanuel thought he had cleverly concealed about 2.4 kilogrammes of cocaine in pendants and female belts.But his luck ran out when he was intercepted by Nigeria’s National Drug Law Enforcement officials.

The 33-year old suspect had just disembarked from a flight from Brazil when he was arrested at the Murtala Muhammed international airport in Lagos, southwest Nigeria.

“During search, powdery substances that tested positive for cocaine were found in his bag. It took several hours to extract the cocaine from the pendants because of the complex method of concealment,” said Mitchell Ofoyeju, NDLEA Head of Public Affairs.

The agency’s airport commander, Mr. Hamza Umar, disclosed that the drug was factory packed inside assorted pendants. He described the mode of concealment as unusual.

“This mode of concealment is strange and it is the first time of discovering drugs inside jewellery,” he said.

Umar explained that the drugs were industrially packed in ear rings, buttons, necklaces, bangles as well as in female belts.“We had to forcefully open them to recover the drugs. The entire quantity of cocaine found in the jewellery products weighed 2.472kg. One arrest has been made in connection with the seizure,” Umar said.

NDLEA said preliminary investigation revealed that the suspect, who had lived in Brazil for over five years, is believed to be working for a suspected Brazilian-based drug syndicate.

The suspect was quoted as saying, “I needed money for the burial anniversary of my late father. 

 As the breadwinner, everybody is looking up to me for the sponsorship of the anniversary. I have lived in Brazil for over five years but I have no money to undertake this important family responsibility. My interest was the 2,000 euros they promised to pay me”.

Oluigboka is married and has a child. He hails from Imo State. The arrest took place last week.Chairman and Chief Executive of the NDLEA, Ahmadu Giade, was quoted as saying: “Although drug barons are becoming more desperate, the agency is determined to frustrate their efforts.

 This seizure is yet an indication that drug traffickers can go to any length in hiding their drugs from law enforcement agents”.The NDLEA boss also called for more public support in the anti-narcotic campaign.“The suspect will soon be charged to court,” NDLEA said.

Man ingests 88 wraps of cocaine

Handel Omekanneji was recently arrested at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos for ingesting 88 wraps of cocaine. 

 The discovery was made by officials of the National Dug Law Enforcement Agency during the inward screening of passengers on an Iberia Airline flight from Sao Paulo, Brazil. The NDLEA Commander at the airport, Mr. Hamza Umar, confirmed the arrest. 

He said, “Omekanneji tested positive for drug ingestion during the inward screening of passengers. He excreted a total of 88 wraps of substance found to be cocaine, which weighed 1.550kg. The case is under investigation and he will soon be charged to court.” 

 Omekanneji told CRIME DIGEST that he travelled to Brazil in 1997 in search of job opportunities. He said, “When I got to Brazil in 1997, I could not get a job so I began selling clothes to survive. Although I was doing fine in business, the profit was insufficient because I am the bread winner of my family and extended family.

 I am not proud of what I have done but was pushed by my situation.” The Chairman of the NDLEA, Ahmadu Giade, urged members of the public to partner with the agency in the campaign against drug trafficking and abuse. 

“We need team work to advance the fight against drug trafficking and abuse. Nigerians must consider the consequences of drug trafficking because it will ultimately lead to shame and regret,” Giade said.

Danfo Driver Dies In NDLEA Custody While Excreting Cocaine(PHOTO)

Drug ingestion as a means of evading arrest has turned suicidal for a 34 year old commercial bus driver in Lagos who met his untimely death over a wrap that ruptured. The deceased, Ozoani Sunny Edwin allegedly returned from Brazil onboard a South African Airline flight at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport (MMIA).

 During screening, he tested positive to drug ingestion and was placed on observation. He excreted 10 wraps of substances that tested positive for cocaine weighing 180 grammes. While still under observation, he complained of stomach pain and was rushed to the hospital where he eventually died. 

A post-mortem examination revealed that his death was due to one of the wraps of cocaine he ingested that ruptured in his stomach. Worried by the sudden demise of the drug suspect coupled with other Nigerians in death roll in foreign countries over drug related offences, the Chairman/Chief Executive of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Ahmadu Giade reiterated his call for stiffer penalties for drug trafficking. 

According to Giade, “until we get the penalty right, drug trafficking will remain attractive. Every case of drug trafficking involving type A drugs like cocaine, heroin and methamphetamine runs into several millions of naira. We must therefore wield the big stick against offenders to serve as deterrence. I am optimistic that adherence to stringent bail conditions and minimum of 15 years jail term will turn the tide of events”. Giade described the death as sad and painful. “This death is sad and painful. 

The deceased would have been alive to face trial and ultimately given opportunity to learn from his mistakes. I urge members of the public to shun drug trafficking and make quality choices that will enable them maximise their destinies” the NDLEA boss opined. NDLEA Airport Commander, Hamza Umar added that the family members of the deceased have applied for the corpse to be released to them after the autopsy. “Following the sad incident, we made contact with the family members.

 They also witnessed the operation where the ruptured wrap of cocaine that killed their son was recovered from his stomach. The Agency has also granted their request for the corpse to release to them” Hamza explained. Preliminary investigation showed that the deceased Ozoani Sunny Edwin travelled to Brazil in search of greener pastures on 3rd of March 2012.

 He told investigators that the drug deal was not in his plan when he left the country. In the words of Ozoani, “I am a bus driver and I came to Lagos in 2000. I was able to save 850,000 naira that I used in travelling to Brazil in search of better jobs. The condition I met in Brazil was unbearable. I had language problem and also lacked work permit. I suffered until a Brazilian lured me into the drug deal as a last resort because I was almost stranded”. Ozoani hails from Enugu State. He attended Nwueodobo Primary School Ngwo and Christ High School Abor both in Enugu State. He lived at Ejigbo area of Lagos.

Nigerian woman swallowed 5 lbs. of heroin

Customs officials at Dulles International Airport say a Nigerian woman set an unfortunate record when she tried to smuggle almost five pounds of heroin into the country.

Authorities say 52-year-old Bola Adebisi (ah-deh-BEE-see) ingested 180 thumb-sized pellets filled with $150,000 worth of heroin. She is charged with drug smuggling in federal court.

Officers became suspicious Saturday when she said she was coming to the U.S. to visit her brother, but couldn't describe him. A routine pat-down found her stomach to be abnormally rigid. An X-ray revealed the pellets and she was taken to the hospital.

A public defender declined to comment.

The previous record for an ingested drug seizure at Dulles occurred last year, when another Nigerian was discovered with more than four pounds of pellets.

NDLEA arrests man with 47 bags of Cannabis

A 40-year-old man has been arrested by men of Ogun Command of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) with 47 bags of drugs suspected to be Cannabis Sativa.

The Commander of NDLEA in Ogun, Mr Mohammed Mohammed, said on Monday in Abeokuta that the suspect was arrested in Abeokuta.

Mohammed said that the suspected illicit drugs were concealed in a specially made compartment in a lorry for onward movement to Ibadan where the buyers were waiting.

According to commander, the drugs, neatly concealed inside 47 bags weigh 461 kilogrammes.

He said, “Test conducted by our laboratory confirmed the content to be Cannabis Sativa.”

Mohammed further revealed that the arrest of the suspect and subsequent interception of the drugs was as a result of surveillance by his men.

He said that officials of the agency were on trial of the suspect for more than 48 hours before he was eventual arrested.

He said that the command received information about the suspect through an informant, and that the 47 bags of Cannabis Sativa were meant to be delivered in Ibadan were the buyers were waiting.

While commended his men for the gallant performance, Mohammed said that the command would leave no stone unturned in its determination to clean the state of illicit drugs.

He said that the command, had between August 2011 and March, seized about three tonnes of Cannabis Sativa, while about 230 suspects had been arrested across the state in the period under review.

The NDLEA boss said that the suspect would be arraign in court as soon as possible.

However, the suspect, who denied knowledge of the content of the container said that “the driver of the vehicle just gave me a lift from Lagos to Abeokuta.

“It is true that l was the one caught with the vehicle because the driver said l should wait for him; please help me beg them to have mercy on me,” he pleaded.

Ex-Nigerian Footballer Caught In Malaysia With Drugs In His Stomach

A FORMER footballer from Nigeria was arrested at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport for trying to smuggle in more than 50 small packets of methamphetamine (syabu) in his stomach. The 27-year-old man, who used to play in the Nigerian junior league, was nabbed by KLIA Customs officers about 11pm on Thursday after a body scan revealed the drug in his stomach.

KLIA Customs Department deputy director Siti Baya Berahan said the man was sent to Serdang Hospital where 35 packets of the drug, each weighing 15g, had so far been retrieved from him.

"The suspect was carrying only a small backpack when he arrived, and he was behaving suspiciously," she said.

"Noticing that something was amiss, our enforcement officers conducted physical checks but could not find anything on him.

"A body scan was then conducted, revealing suspicious objects in his stomach, believed to be drugs, before he was rushed to the hospital immediately.

Siti Baya said it was believed that the man had swallowed 75 packets of the drug with a street value of RM200,000 before he boarded the plane.

"Initial investigations found that the suspect was promised US$2,000 (RM6,000) as payment for smuggling the drug here by a syndicate."

Siti Baya said Customs officers had also arrested two foreigners early this month for trafficking in ketamine and methamphetamine.

"On Feb 1, they nabbed an Indian national, aged 38, after they found 7.95kg of ketamine in a box he was carrying."

"The box contained kitchen appliances. However, our scanner machine revealed drugs, worth about RM143,000, hidden in a secret compartment at the bottom of the box," she said.

The suspect had arrived from Hyderabad, India.

Siti Baya said a 24-year-old Bangladeshi man was arrested on Friday for trying to smuggle 6.15kg of methamphetamine, valued at RM1.5 million, into the country. He had arrived from Dhaka, Bangladesh.

NDLEA arrests man with drugs stuffed inside tin tomato

A 26-year-old man has been arrested by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, for alleged drug trafficking. The suspect, identified as Nzeka Chika, who was heading to Malaysia, was caught with over 1.800kg of methamphetamine worth over N5 million, stuffed into tin tomatoes at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, MMIA, Ikeja, Lagos.

The suspect who claimed to be ignorant of death sentence for drug offenders in Malaysia is being interrogated by anti-narcotic agents over unlawful exportation of the drugs. Officers of the agency who made the arrest at the weekend following the discovery of drugs inside tomato paste at Lagos, Nigeria, said the suspect is cooperating with investigators.

According to a source, the drug which was industrially packaged in two big tin tomato containers, clothes and foodstuff was detected during the outward screening of an Egypt Air flight to Malaysia at the Lagos airport . NDLEA Airport Commander, Mr. Hamza Umar who gave the name of the suspect, as Nzeka Chika, a commercial motorcycle rider in Okigwe, Imo State said he was still under interrogation.

“The two big tin tomato pastes with 1.8kg of methamphetamine were in Nzeka’s bag containing clothes and foodstuff like yams, rice, beans, garri and spaghetti. The food items were meant to distract officers from the tomato pastes” Hamza stated.

Similarly, NDLEA operatives at the Lagos State Command arrested a drug peddler, identified as Yomi Kito. Sources said the arrest was affected after a raid at the notorious drug enclave of Akala Mushin, Lagos last Saturday.

Residents of the area who applauded the agency after the arrest urged them to carry out more of such raids. A resident, who craved for anonymity over fear of reprisal told Crime Alert, “We have suffered a lot of insecurity from the presence of these hoodlums smoking Indian hemp around this area for a long time and security agents have been insensitive to their presence. We want them to do this often so that they can make this area unattractive for drug users.”

NDLEA nabs man with liquid cocaine at MMIA

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) said on Wednesday that it had arrested a 32-year-old man with 7.1 kg of liquid cocaine at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA), Ikeja.

In a statement by its spokesman, Mr Mitchel Ofoyeju, NDLEA said that the drug was intercepted during the screening of passengers that arrived on an Emirate flight from Brazil, en route Dubai on Monday.

Ofoyeju said that the drug, with an estimated street value of N63.9 million, was emulsified in a solvent and factory-packaged as wine.

He said that three of the nine packs of wine that the suspect imported were found to contain cocaine.

The NDLEA spokesman said that seizure of cocaine in liquid form was uncommon in Nigeria.

He quoted NDLEA Chairman Ahmadu Giade as saying that the agency would continue to expose the tricks of drug barons in the country.

Ofoyeju also quoted Giade as attributing the seizure to the alertness of NDLEA officers at the airport and saying that the suspect would soon appear in court.

According to Ofoyeju, the anti-drug Commander at the Lagos airport, Mr. Hamza Umar, said that the suspect was believed to be working for a Brazilian drug syndicate.

The NDLEA spokesman said that the suspect had lived in Brazil for more than seven years.

He quoted the suspect as saying that he indulged in drug trafficking due to financial difficulties.
