Pregnant bikini contest held in America

Just because you are late stage pregnant doesn’t mean you can’t dress in a bikini, so that is just what dozens of women did.

About forty pregnant women, all in their third trimester, competed in Houston, in the Annual Pre-Labor Day Pregnant Bikini Contest.

The ladies proved their parenting skills in challenges such as changing baby’s diaper before throwing and strutting down the runway to show their punches. The contest gives fun loving women a chance to show off their incredible bodies capable of growing a whole separate life. While women compete, their families, friends and associates encourage them.

Jennifer Clay, who is in her 32nd week of pregnancy, was deemed the winner based on her grace, presentation and an “it” factor.

The event, organized by a radio program held in Grand Woodrow, is in its eighth year, but has not escaped controversy with some bloggers who criticize the practice. “So, I’ll just come right out and say it: I have mixed feelings about this,” writes Jacqueline Burt on the contest last year. “Look, I’m all for self-acceptance and have a positive body image regardless

Last Name Drama: Kanye Sad Over Kim K's Refusal To Change Her Last Name.

If there's one thing that Kanye West should have known before buying an $11 million mansion with Kim K, is that Kim is never letting go of her world-famous last name.

The marriage-tradition-observing Kanye seems to be very upset with his heartthrob Kim not wanting to change her last name for him. A source told Star Magazine:

"Kanye is very disappointed and upset about the whole thing but Kim refuses to budge."

Didn't Kanye know that Kim is a really adamant person, she always gets what she wants? Just like how she went on to marry Kriss against the opinion of her family. 

Apart from that, it is also being said that she thinks their soon-to-be-born baby should bear her last name since it's become so famous on its own. As much as Kanye might let Kim stay a Kardashian, we don't think he'll allow that for his baby- that's like robbing him off his fatherly pride.

9year-old pupil Steals Guardian’s Money and Poisons Him

A nine year-old girl (names withheld) in company of a lady, who claimed to be her aunty, penultimate Monday walked up to a caterer around Fodacis/Orita-Challenge area of Ibadan to haggle over the price of a moderate-sized cake for her birthday. Both the caterer and her friend exchanged glances, then asked the girl, “Who wants to buy the cake?” She swiftly answered, “I am the one. 

I want to take it to school for my 10th year birthday.” When asked where she got the money from, she claimed that her mother sent it to her from Kano, where she is based. The baker would have gone ahead to prepare the cake, but for her friend who suspected foul play and asked her not to do it, the baker therefore, returned the money to the girl, who we gathered is a primary five pupil of a public school around the area.

 Having discovered the unwillingness of the baker, she changed her mind and bought two cartons of Dansa drink, some assorted biscuits, worth N4,000 and held a small birthday party in her school. She assured her friends of the continuation of the birthday bash at Obafemi Awolowo Stadium (former Liberty Stadium) the following day. 

 It was also gathered that the class teacher of the girl (names withheld) who also guessed that she stole the money questioned her, but she told her the same story she told the baker. Our investigation however revealed that the innocent-looking girl, who always put on her hijab, actually stole a sum of N10,000 from the over N200,000 sent to her guardian from abroad for a building project and dropped rat poison in the man’s soup. 

 The calculation, according to sources, was to kill the man and steal the remaining money to sponsor her birthday bash at the stadium. The guardian would have lost his life if not for his smartness and instinct, which made him drink good quantity of palm oil as an antidote to make the poison ineffective.

Stylist Marc Littlejohn claims he was hired to do Ray J's wardrobe styling on February 10 for a Grammy related event ... problem is, he alleges all the duds he let the singer borrow were left in Whitney Houston's room.

 Houston died the next day in that room and, according to the lawsuit ... the pricey clothes haven't been seen since. Now Littlejohn is suing Ray J for $2,880 -- the cost of the missing clothes -- insisting he's reached out to both the singer and his mother/manager repeatedly to get some cash or the threads.

Justin Bieber To Be Arrested

Justin Bieber has a huge mess on his hands. The 18-year-old popstar allegedly attacked a photographer on May 26 while on a date with his girlfriend Selena Gomez. But now that he’s left for Europe, does this mean he’ll avoid being questioned? Raoul Felder tells HollywoodLife.com that the only way Justin will get out of being questioned is if his attorney’s can prove it never happened.

 But Justin will most likely be questioned by police. “Anytime the police say you need to come in for questioning they usually arrest you when you come in and then you get bailed out,” Raoul says. “They want to hear your side of the story. But very frequently, they arrest you right on the spot.” But now that Justin is in Oslo, Noway, does this mean he’ll get in trouble for fleeing the country? “It’s not a murder case where everyone stops the clock,” Raoul says.

 “He’ll show up with his lawyer when he’s back and they might arrest him. But it’s a misdemeanor, it’s not a felony. He is working with his legal team, publicist, personal manager and writing a lot of checks out right now.” But Raoul says that if Justin is charged, he’ll have this on his record forever! “He’ll most likely go before the judge and plead guilty because he doesn’t want a jury trial like a Lindsay Lohan situtation,” he says. 

“He’ll apologize and say he’s sorry and didn’t mean to hurt anyone. The judge will probably give him 30 days community service.” HollywoodLife.com has reached out to Justin’s rep for comment but has yet to hear back.

American reality TV star Kim Kardashian has sparked a row over Heathrow baggage handlers after she accused British Airways workers of stealing 'irreplaceable' items from her luggage after a recent flight. She says staff at the airport, which is already facing claims it will struggle to cope with the surge in passengers during the Olympics, took several handbags and 'priceless' sunglasses she inherited from her late father. 

The allegations spark new fears that security at Heathrow may be returning to the lax levels of the 1970s and 1980s when it was nicknamed Thiefrow due to its reputation for high rates of luggage theft. Miss Kardashian, whose father Robert was the lawyer who sensationally helped clear OJ Simpson of murder, is said to have arrived back in Los Angeles from France on Friday night to find that her luggage was significantly lighter than it had been on the way out. 

On further inspection, she is reported to have discovered that the sunglasses, which Robert gave her before he died in 2003, were missing from her case. U.S. website TMZ.com also claim that 'several extremely expensive purses and Tumi luggage' were missing. Kim had earlier written on her Twitter page: 'Very disappointed in British Airways for opening my luggage & taking some special items of mine! Some things are sentimental ¬ replaceable. 'What happened to the days when you could lock your bags! We need to get back to that. 

There's no sense of security & no trust! Shame on you(sic)' The reality star is now said to have approached BA to look into the apparent theft by analysing CCTV footage. TMZ allege that if BA don't provide a satisfactory response, Kim will be taking the matter to the police. British Airways said when contacted by MailOnline that they 'have received a complaint and are investigating'. BA is highly respected in the world of air travel and celebrated it's 90th anniversary in 2009. Kim is back in Los Angeles after a whistle-stop promotional tour of London, and then a week at the Cannes International Film Festival where her beau, rapper Kanye West debuted his short film.

When old flames become new flames : Rhianna & Drake rekindle in Montreal

It was a dinner date last night as Drake & Rihanna made their way to Montreal's famous Buonanotte restaurant in the city's downtown district, which is celebrating its 20th year in business. Earlier in the day both stars were at the Canadian Grand Prix to watch Jenson Button take pole position during a dramatic day's racing. 

Early on in the week Drake joined the Rihanna on stage to perform the track in his native Toronto and then again last night in Montreal. Apparently the two also enjoyed a night of clubbing on Friday at Terrasses Bonsecours club right after they were spotted leaving Drake's hotel. 

 Seems like they're leaving tracks and clues. No one knows for sure what their relationship entails but it's safe to say that they're really enjoying each others company.

'I love Beyoncé to death': Michelle Obama confesses her admiration for singer

She recently revealed she would like to switch lives with Beyoncé, and now Michelle Obama has admitted the full extent of her admiration for the U.S. singer. 'I love her to death,' the First Lady confessed while on her first visit to the Good Morning America studios to promote her new book, and discuss her healthy eating campaign.

 Mrs Obama sat down with Robin Roberts as part of a TV tour to chat about the book, American Grown: The Story of the White House Kitchen Garden and Gardens Across America.

And she said that she particularly admired Beyoncé - who she saw in concert with her two daughters at the weekend - for her devotion to the First Lady's anti-obesity campaign, Let's Move. 'Anybody who's got talent, I'm all for,' she said. 'But Beyoncé has just been a tremendous supporter of Lets Move. Beyoncé stepped up.' Of an exercise campaign they held together in Washington, D.C. in May, Mrs Obama added: 'I love her to death.

 I was glad to be out there moving my body with her.' It comes after Mrs Obama, 48, told People magazine that if she could switch lives with any celebrity or world figure, she would pick Beyoncé, 30. Performer: The First Lady took her daughters to see Beyonce perform in Atlantic City at the weekend And the feeling appears to be mutual, as Beyoncé posted an open letter on her website praising Mrs Obama as the ultimate example of a truly strong African-American woman. 

During the early-morning television appearance, the First Lady also focused on her healthy-eating campaign, demonstrating how to plant seeds with children from Brooklyn. She also spoke of her own gardening challenges, including fears that she would never be able to have a garden at the White House - and how not all the work has gone to plan. 'I thought, "Wouldn't it be amazing to plant a vegetable garden in White House?' and started having conversations with staff.' Much to her surprise, 'the answers were "yes", "yes" and "yes".'

 There is now more than 11,000 square ft of land at the White House used for the vegetable garden, with the First Family getting a hand from hundreds of children. But she admitted it hasn't been easy: 'We had a big tree that almost got thrown in the compost bin because someone thought it was a big weed.' And she confessed they have not yet produced a good-looking melon, despite their best efforts. 

Mrs Obama also revealed that, despite her campaign to encourage youngsters to eat more vegetables, she and her husband do try to avoid some more than others. She loves 'broccoli, arugula with a nice piece of steak, string beans, greens, carrots,' she said. But 'one thing the President and I don't really like are beets. We believe there is a beet gene - you either love it or hate it - and neither of us has it.'

Justin Bieber wanted by the police for questioning

Teen idol Justin Bieber is wanted for questioning by Los Angeles County Sheriff's investigators - after a paparazzo complained of being roughed up by the young pop star at a shopping center. The scuffle allegedly happened when the photographer tried to snap pictures of the 18-year-old and his girlfriend Selena Gomez, after they walked out of a theater at The Commons at Calabasas today. 

Sheriff Lt. Robert Wiard says the photographer in question called 911 on Sunday and complained of pain to his chest. Wiard says the photographer was taken to a hospital where he was treated and released. 

He says Bieber and Gomez left before deputies arrived, so investigators want to talk to him to get his side of the story. During the altercation, the usually complaint pop star appeared angry and frustrated and girlfriend Selena appeared to be trying to reason with him.

TMZ claims that the paparazzo filed a police report, and alleges that according to law enforcement sources the police are investigating the incident as misdemeanour criminal battery.

 While Justin failed to keep calm during the altercation, Selena, 19, was seen helping Justin retrieve his baseball cap and one of his high top trainers after they flew off during the incident. She also appeared to be saying some soothing words to her beau as she chatted to him while tenderly stroking his arm to calm him down.

Lady Gaga is so terrified that Islamic terrorists might attack her and/or her mega-concert in Indonesia, she cancelled the upcoming show, her reps confirmed. Gaga's management team announced today there were major security concerns regarding the June 3 gig in Jakarta, the nation's capital city. 

 Extremists were calling to ban Gaga, fearing that her risque costumes, song lyrics and embrace of homosexuality would corrupt Muslim youths. The Indonesian Council of Ulema chairman, Cholil Ridwan, fervently urged a boycott, saying Gaga "intends to destroy the nation's morality." 

 Security concerns for the concert skyrocketed from such beliefs, so much so the Jakarta police refused to issue the star's tour a permit. This in spite of the fact that 52,000 tickets had already been sold. Given the current lack of permit, and the rising security threats, Gaga's team threw in the towel and decided to officially cancel today.

 Gaga then released a statement Sunday via Twitter saying, "I'm so very sorry to the fans and just as devastated as you if not more." "You are everything to me. I promise I will try to put together something special for you. 

My love for Indonesia has only grown." The 26-year-old has courted controversy everywhere in Asia. South Korean critics also called for a boycott; She sang in the Philippines amid death threats, and most recently performed and shopped for a fake Rolex in Bangkok.

Movie goers this weekend finally discovered what it takes to defeat The Avengers: Will Smith, Josh Brolin and a handful of aliens. Indeed, Men in Black 3 grossed $55 million at the box office this weekend, slowing down the Marvel blockbuster a bit and forcing it into second place. 

 Men in Black 3 Trailer The Avengers still earned $37 million, of course, and blew past the $500 million barrier on Saturday, its 23rd day of release.
