The Army aircraft used for surveillance by security personnel in Jos due to the crisis in the state has crashed.
The incident happened at about 12:15pm today.
The helicopter is reported to have crashed on a house around Rukuba road behind Jos satellite market as it embarked on it’s regular surveillance routine early Wednesday morning.
Multiple sources say the helicopter crashed
Casualty figure is yet to be ascertained as regards the occupants of the building but the pilot and four officers on board did not survive the crash.
The National Emergency Management Agency(NEMA) has confirmed the incident.
The Special task force was set-up to coordinate the security of the troubled state following killing of hundreds of people.
