“Unfortunately, our leaders keep adopting corruption to fight corruption. What happened to the billions recovered from late former Head of State, Sani Abacha; from former Inspector General of Police, Tafa Balogun; Lucky Igbinedion, James Ibori and the rest?”
President and Founder, Oodua People’s Congress, Dr. Frederick Fasehun, has accused Nigerian leaders of adopting corruption to fight corruption in the country.
At a press conference in Lagos on Tuesday, Fasehun said corruption is fast becoming a monster that would destroy the country if the right methods were not adopted to quickly tackle it.
“Corruption reigns supreme as a thriving industry. And corruption is fast becoming a monster that will destroy the nation if the right methods are not adopted to quickly tackle it," he stressed.
Fasehun, however, said the panacea for the restructuring, reforming, re-designing and retransforming the nation was the convening of Sovereign National Conference.
