Men of the Nigerian Police Force, Badagry police station, have arrested a pastor with the Anglican Church in Lagos for allegedly killing a street hawker.
The accused clergyman, identified as Rev. Michael Adewale, was said to have hit the deceased, Ifeanyi Alegu, 18, and his brother, Chinedu, with his car along the busy Lagos-Badagry road.
Newsmen gathered that the brothers were rushed to a nearby hospital, where Ifeanyi later died.
The State Police spokesperson, Ngozi Braide, confirmed the incident, adding that the case is under investigation and necessary action will be taken.
