The policeman caught on tape demanding bribe has been arrested

Earlier we brought you a YouTube video about a policeman caught in the act of requesting 25k bribe from someone. If you missed the video CLICK HERE . Report reaching todaysgist is that, the policeman (pictured above) caught on tape has been arrested by the Nigerian police. The police claimed via a Facebook post that the erring police officer, whose name they didn't make public, is awaiting an “orderly room trial. The police said the officer is a sergeant attached to the Lagos State Command Motor Traffic Division.
Why prosecute a common criminal secretly? He should be prosecuted openly for the sake of transparency, so that other criminals like him should think twice before looting the innocent public.
