The nation mourns the innocent people who lost their lives in the deadly bomb blast in Abuja yesterday. The President was shocked to received the sad report and acted in a swift response to coordinate the security and the health officials to tightened security and to offer assistance to the survivals of the blast.
Other celebs have offer their prayers and sympathies to the families of the victims. One of the first people to mention the incident was top actress Omoni Oboli who wrote in her twitter page, “May God rest the souls of the departed. My heart goes out to the families & friends…#weareallhurting #whenwillthemourningend #Jesussaveus.”
Star actress Genevieve Nnaji has also dropped a line for the departed brothers and sisters, who died in bomb blast.
“May the souls of our brothers and sisters..who had this mornings gift of life taken from them without mercy, rest with The Lord Almighty. Amen! #RipvictimsofNyanyabombing,” Genevieve Nnaji wrote.
The National President of Actors’ Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Ibinabo Fiberesima, also joined her voice with other entertainment celebrities to mourn the untimely deaths of victims of Nyanya, Abuja bomb blast. She lamented, “Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, although it’s difficult today to see beyond the sorrow, nothing can bring back the hour of splendor in the grass, of glory in the flower, we will grieve and find strength in what remains behind. RIP Abuja Bomb Victims!.
“MY HEART BLEEDS! I know for certain that we never lose the people we love, even to death. They continue to participate in every act, thought and decision we make. Their love leaves an indelible imprint in our memories. We find comfort in knowing that our lives have been enriched by having shared their love.
“To all those who have lost someone to BH. May the good Lord give you all the fortitude to bear the loss to Nigerians, let’s fight this ‘scourge’ called Boko Haram.”
