I don't want to sound ungrateful or unappreciative to the people developing train service in Nigeria because it is one of the best medium of transportation in developed countries but i want to quickly make a point because of the problems we are used to having in the past. We know how many lives we have lost from companies operating with old planes and other old transportation medium(buses, taxis e.t.c,).
According to reports, the Nigerian Railway Commission just acquired some new trains which is due to be rolled out soon. The new trains were ordered by the MD of NRC, Dr. Adeseyi Sijuwade. See the pictures of the new trains below:
You can all see that these trains were painted to NRC colour and were refurbished and if they come out straight to say the truth, we will all understand instead of making a country full of graduates look stupid.
Please, i checked out how most of the current new trains are looking and you can see below for yourself. I just hope the are not dumping old retired trains to Nigeria because of the cost of acquiring good new ones.
