Nigeria Police Denies The Viral Story of 'Nigerian Restaurant Serving HUMAN FLESH'

Two days ago a report by dailymail alleging that a Restaurant in Nigeria was selling human flesh went viral.The Nigerian Police has come out to boldly deny the report.
The Anambra State Police Command on Sunday debunked media report that a certain restaurant in Awka, the state capital, has been dishing human flesh to unsuspecting members of the public in its menu.


According to the report, the police, had on discovery of the restaurant, closed down the place.

But in a telephone interview on Sunday, the Police Public Relations Officer, Uche Eze, said,
“There was nothing like that. I advise you to ignore that report. It’s not true and it did not happen. We don’t have such record. It’s embarrassing.”
However the BBC in its report, maintained that there was such restaurant in Awka. It said,
“Residents told police of rumours that the restaurant was cooking human meat for customers. Police then raided the restaurant, where they discovered fresh human heads that were still bleeding. The blood was in the process of being drained into a plastic bag.”
The report also noted that “in addition to the human meat menu served by the restaurant, authorities discovered automatic weapons, grenades, and cell phones. Ten persons had already been arrested for the crime.”

PUNCH reports that efforts by newsmen in Awka to get the location or name of the restaurant yielded no results.


I think we definitely deserve an apology cos this story has already been sold out to a huge international audience who made so many unnecessary comments about Nigeria and Nigerians.

We sell human parts to Pastors,Imams ─ Suspects

The Lagos State Police Command has arrested a gang of human parts traders who were allegedly plying their “business” in several markets in Lagos.The four-man gang, who were arrested by the operatives of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, are Olakunle Ogunsola, Oyebamiji Olalekan, Rasheed Opeyemi and Akorede Wasiu.Olakunle, 26-year-old who hails from Ilaro in Ogun State, confessed that he had sold human parts to Christian and Muslim clerics in the past.He told Punch.

“I usually sell herbs at the Ile Epo Market. It was one Waheed Ajigbotoloun that introduced selling human parts to me. That was just last year October. He was my supplier too, and he told me he used to get them from Joju Cemetery in Sango Ota, Ogun State.

“I didn’t always buy the human parts except when there was a request for them from my customers. Upon request, I have bought human skulls and meat from him for my customers. Some of them are pastors, imams, and native doctors too.

I have sold human parts to two pastors this year, but I cannot remember the names of their churches.”The first pastor I sold to is based in Sango Otta, Ogun State. He paid me N24,500 for the parts. The clerics use these to make their congregations move forward. I also use some of the parts to make charm powder.I am not the only seller in the market. There is also one Lukman, who we popularly call Oosa. But since I started, I have bought only six human skulls.”

Olakunle claimed to have finished from the Lagos State University in February 2013 where he studied Accounting. He added that he financed his university education with proceeds from the sale of herbs and human parts

Forty-year-old Oyebamiji who hails from Ibadan, Oyo State, also confessed to have sold human parts to many people.“I have been a trader at the Oja Oba Market for the past three years. It is not that I sell only human parts. However, each of the part I sold went for between N6,000 and N7,000. The supplier told me he was getting them from the cemetery. I have sold five to six pieces. I know it was wrong to do this, but I was looking for money.”

For Opeyemi, who is a 51-year-old native doctor from Ikirun, Osun State, he bought the human parts to cure one of his patients in the past.

“I am an Alhaji and also a star reader. I had called prayers several times at a mosque in the Ajegunle. I used the human parts only once for the treatment of one of my patients. The boy was cured and I never bought human parts from anyone again,” he said.

Police Arrest Man With Fresh Human Head In Lagos

Just like some people deal on car parts, it's a shame some wicked people deal on human parts and just like a car is broken to pieces to remove the parts so these wicked people kill innocent people to extract their parts.A 38-year-old man(names withheld) was on Tuesday, June 10 arrested by the Police Command in Lagos State  at Orile area of the state for allegedly being in possession of a fresh human head.

The Police Public Relations Officer, Ngozi Braide who made this disclosure in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) NAN on Wednesday in Lagos said: “The police team that arrested the suspect was led by one Insp. Bernard Oyinlade, while they were conducting a ‘stop and search’ operation near the white sand area of Orile.

“The team stopped the man who was walking along the road with a polythene bag having suspected him and immediately called for a search.“He immediately took to his heels and was pursued.“He was arrested and during the searching of his bag, a suspected fresh human skull was found.
“The suspect is undergoing interrogation.He will be transferred to the State Criminal Investigations Department, Panti, Yaba for further investigations,” Braide said.Over the past weeks, the rate at which Police have been arresting suspects with possession of human heads is very worrisome.

In April 2014, the Ogun state Police arrested two females and three men arrested for being in possession of human heads and some pieces of human flesh.In March, one suspect, Adelani Ayomide, with 18 human skulls in Ogun state.

In February, four males and two females were arrested in Oyo state with a fresh human head with blood still dripping from it. While a 'fake preacher' was also arrested with human skull in Ibadan.

Police Arrests 38 Year Old Man With 18 Human Skulls In Ogun State

While you are so innocent minding your business and going about your daily activities, some people are plotting and looking for innocent people to kill for different reasons .These things are true so be mindful and cautious of evil men.

The Ogun Police Command said on Thursday that it arrested a 38-year-old man, Adelani Ayomide, for being in possession of a bag containing 18 human skulls.

A statement by the command’s spokesperson, Mr Muyiwa Adejobi, issued in Abeokuta said Ayomide was arrested on Thursday along the Ado-Odo-Owode road at about 6.48 a.m. during a routine police stop-and-search operation.

He said that the case would be transferred to the command’s headquarters in Abeokuta for further investigation.

Adejobi gave assurance that every person involved in the crime would be arrested and arraigned after investigation.

Police nab prophet, accomplice over fresh human parts

The suspect, Kunle Olaide and the human parts.

Two persons, one of them said to be a prophet with a white garment church, have been arrested by the Police in Lagos, following  the discovery of fresh human parts in their custody.

We gathered that policemen attached to Ikotun division on patrol accosted two men at about 12: 30 p.m, Friday, with a Ghana-must-go bag. When they requested to know the content of the bag, one of the men bolted.

When the bag was eventually opened, fresh human parts were found  inside  two containers.The  recovered parts  included  five fingers, a human heart, liver, kidney and intestines, all concealed in separate plastics filled with water. The plastics were, thereafter, tied inside separate polythene bags and kept  in the carry-all bag.

Apparently to avoid suspicion, the suspects added soup ingredients such as salt, tomatoes and two pairs of bathroom slippers in a separate nylon bag which they placed on top of the human parts.

However, during interrogation, the arrested suspect identified as Kunle Olaide, claimed the bag was given to him by his friend who bolted when they were stopped.

On further interrogation, it was discovered that Kunle and his fleeing partner, slept in the  church the previous night.

Kunle confessed to be coming from the church located in Egbe area of the state when they were accosted by the policemen. His confessional statement led to the arrest of the said prophet of the church, Dare Akinrosoye.

Sources at SCID told Vanguard that investigation so far revealed that their victim was recently killed. But the purpose and circumstances surrounding the killing were yet to be ascertained. Police sources hinted that it was obvious the suspects were taking the human parts somewhere, assuring that investigation would unravel  the truth.

Contacted, the Lagos State Deputy Police Public Relations Officer, Mr Damasus Ozoani, confirmed the arrest, stating that  investigation was still on.

Tomb Raiders Dig up more than 100 Graves in Benin Cemetery in Search of Human Organs

As a lot of people might be thinking, Benin being referred to here is the West African country and not the capital of Edo State in Nigeria. The tomb raiders have reportedly dug up more than 100 graves at a cemetery in Benin since Saturday for what authorities suspect is a black-market trade in human organs and skulls for voodoo ritual fetishes.

This incident is considered the most serious case of grave-robbing in the West African state which is believed to be the world capital of voodoo; where most of the country’s 9 million residents practice a benign form of the official religion.

Authorities in Dangbo, a village 10 km (6 miles) from the capital Porto-Novo, began an investigation after a mason working at the cemetery said he spotted several masked men digging up the graves, from which organs and skulls were removed. “The desecration of graves is about money in this region,” said Joseph Afaton, director of the cemetery. “It is for sacrifices, or for bewitching.”

In this part of the continent, body parts of humans and rare animals are prized by some people for their supposed supernatural powers, and are used in occult ceremonies. Traffickers often obtain human remains from grave robbers, but a recent spate of killings has also been linked to the gruesome trade.
