Susannah Bone was not happy with how she looked.

So the mum-of-two, 45, had repeat ops including three bouts of botox, lip enhancement and a high tech treatment for facial veins.

Two days after she had the last session she was found dead slumped on her sofa after suffering a severe bout of vomiting the previous day, an inquest into her death heard.

Cops broke into her flat in Thame, Oxon, after being contacted by worried relatives who had not heard from her.

The inquest in Oxford heard Ms Bone had been suffering severe depression for more than ten years after first developing post-natal depression following the birth of her second son Jonathan.

The divorcee's mum Jean Daish questioned whether she had suffered a negative reaction to the cosmetic procedures when coupled with the high dose of anti-depressant medication she was on.

The final treatment Ms Bone had was "bombardment" of facial veins with intense pulsed light which is designed to remove broken facial capillaries.

Pathologist Dr Aron Szuts said he had not been able to determine a cause of death but said there was no evidence to suggest the procedures had played a part.

Coroner for Oxfordshire Nicholas Gardiner recorded an open verdict.

However Mrs Daish said after the inquest: "She had five beauty treatments in the month before she died. The day after one of them she was vomiting all day for 12 hours.

"Could she have had a reaction from the medication?

"She was naturally beautiful. I was horrified when she told me she was having these beauty treatments.

"She had no need to have them done but she did it to build up her self-confidence."

Detective Constable Richard Josie said the scene found in the flat suggested the death had been unexpected as she had settled in front of the TV to watch a Harry Potter DVD.

Mr Gardiner said: "The cause of death is simply unknown, it is unascertained.

"It is difficult to say whether it was simply a natural event, hearts do sometimes stop for no reason.

"I have to record an open verdict."
