The king and his boys made attempt to venture into that said land in order to sell them but they were prevented by members of the Temetan family, Tale and his brothers. This actually caused enmity between the king and Tale.
Many attempts had been made to take the life of Tale and his brothers.

The real story started on Tuesday, 12th of March, 2013. Ilaje High School was holding her inter-house sport competition on that day. At the end of the day, chaos busted between some students and the securities of the school. To cub the riot, the securities called the palace and reported the situation. On getting to the scene of the riot, the palace boys discovered that Lebi Titiola, a brother to Tale, their “Enemy” was there.

Lebi was arrested along with two other students. They were taken to the palace only for the king to take two of the arrested students to the police station leaving Lebi Titiola behind in the palace. The next day, wednesday, the two boys taken to the police station wrote their statement stating that three people was arrested but only two were brought to the station.

Immediately, the Divisional Police Officer (D.P.O.) Ordered the Divisional Crime Officer (D.C.O.) To go and query the king on the third person. The king at first said only two person was arrested but later admitted that the third person escaped. The parents of the third boy went to the palace to also enquire about their son on Thursday. The king assured them that their son is safe and that very soon, they will see him.

On Friday, the parents went to the palace again only for the palace boys to fight them and chase them away from the palace. Later that day, the king left town to an unknown destination. Saturday morning, Igbokoda Community woke up to hear a shocking story of the lost boy corpse found floating on the river behind the house of one of the chiefs, chief Tayo Lebile.

Immediately the story was out, all the chiefs and palace boys went into hiding as none of them were found in town. This lead to the destruction of the Palace and the house of the chiefs.

When the corpse was brought out of the river, it was found that his intestine was out as his stomach was cut opened, his throat was cut, a spear pierced through his left arm. His hand was tied with a binding wire to his back and was attached to two local gym stones.
