Sometimes we hold on to relationships even thought we know that they are simply not good enough for us. here are a few signs that you need to say goodbye to that person:
1. You’re not Happy This is a great place to start. Someone who is dating the right person consistently enjoys the relationship and feels a general sense of happiness. We’re not saying that they wouldn’t argue or be upset with their partner occasionally; even the healthiest couples do that. And we’re not saying that there wouldn’t be times when a person in a good relationship would get down or struggle emotionally at some point. But generally speaking, a person who is in the right relationship should be happy. So if you find yourself unhappy most of the time – and especially when you’re with your partner – then that’s a fairly clear sign that this may not be the best person for you.
2. You keep your partner’s actions and words a secret If you can’t tell your family or friends about the many of the things your boyfriend or girlfriend says and does, then you may not be in a healthy loving relationship. If you constantly need to lie to protect him/her then it’s time to get out of that bad relationship.
3. Your partner wants you to change If your partner doesn’t love you as you are, then it’s time to run! Of course, this doesn’t apply where they genuinely want you to change certain bad habits for your own good. This is one of the most important signs of bad relationships: a person who doesn’t love or accept you as you are. Eventually, such a person will begin to compare you with others and will eventually leave you for someone else.
4. Your partner doesn’t trust you Constant phone calls, demands on your time, and jealous behaviour are NOT signs of love! If your partner doesn’t trust you or accuses you of lying, then you need to re-evaluate your love. This is a sign of deep insecurity, which could lead to more serious relationship problems.
5. You disrespect each other If you don’t respect your partner and there’s no respect coming from their end either, then it’s time to call it quits. Mutual respect is an essential ingredient of successful relationships and if you don’t have that, then it’s just not worth it.
6. Your loved ones are not in support If the people you trust and are closest to feel that you’re in a very good and healthy relationship, then it’s a good sign that you two may belong together.
On the other hand, if the people who love you the most are begging you to get away from someone, then that person’s probably not the one for you This is definitely not a conclusive list so what do you think people? What are some other signs that you’re with the wrong person? we sincerely appreciate your comments.
