Senate President, David Mark, has asked Nigerians to always prepare to give account of all their actions to God after their lives here on earth.

He said this in Jos, during the funeral service of an In-law of his extended family, Sunday Got, who died last week at the age of 65, leaving behind four children, two grand children and many relations.

According to Mr. Mark, most people live reckless lives forgetting that they would give account to their creator.

He said that the late Mr. Got was a humble and perfect gentleman.

The Senate President said the deceased lived a life worthy of emulation by the younger generation. He challenged the family of the late Mr. Got to emulate his lifestyle.

“For the past 27 years, I have known Sunday Got as an in-law, he has never raised his eyes to look at me in the face, Vicky,” he said to Mr. Got’s widow, “You got a husband but God has called him back.

He has taught you the way of life, do not deviate.”

The Plateau State Governor, Jonah Jang, and the Gbong Gwon Jos, Gyang Buba, who were also at the service, in their speeches, also testified that the Mr. Got lived a fulfilled life that should be exemplified.

The remains of Mr. Got was later laid to rest at the St Pirant Church cemetery in Jos. During the funeral service, all routes leading to the Church and the Cemetery were barricaded for security reasons.
