Joy Imoh, a 300 level student of Mass communication, OOU has been reported dead. Joy Imoh lost her life to an asthma attack which occurred at about 11pm on 18th May, 2015, as all efforts to rush her to the school clinic was stalled by unavailability of means of transportation.She later gave up on the way to clinic and her remains has been deposited at OOUTH for post-mortem.
Asthma is a common long-term condition that can cause coughing, wheezing, chest tightness and breathlessness.
The severity of these symptoms varies from person to person. Asthma can be controlled well in most people most of the time, although some people may have more persistent problems.
