Many Lagosians face serious traffic everyday when returning from work on the Island. As if the long hours wasted on traffic everyday is not enough, they are now a victim of robberies perpetrated by hoodlums en-route "Third mainland bridge and Eko bridge" . A new victim has shared his frightening experience. Read below:
I got robbed on Eko bridge last night at around 8pm. The most painful part is that while the episode played out for about 5 mins, people in other cars just looked on unconcerned. I had my wife and 9 month old baby in the car at the time but that didn't beset them as they scattered the side glass all over them in a movie like manner. They managed to break two of my side windows and made away with 3 mobile phones and my sister's bag which had her cards and other valuables inside. Please advise your readers to be careful on the usual Eko bridge traffic when coming to the mainland in the evening.
