"I’ve Buried Too Many Commissioners" – Governor Suswam Laments

 The executive Governor of Benue state, Gabriel Suswam, says he feels bad that he has buried quite a few Commissioners in his cabinet since the inception of his administration. 

 Governor Suswam expressed his sadness today March 13th during the funeral of the Commissioner of Rural Development and Cooperative, Aondowase Chia who died last Thursday March 5th.

 “I’ve buried too many commissioners; I am very uncomfortable and I completely align myself with what His Royal Majesty earlier said that we must all go back to God. 

Most people believe that they will hire political thugs to kill; unfortunately, they forget the fact that life is full of emptiness. God alone determines the destiny of every man,” he said Mr Atorto Girgi, who served as the ministry of Rural Development and Cooperative died in active service three years ago, giving way to Mr Chia who died last week..

Governor Gabriel Suswam Involved In Ghastly Auto Crash(See Photos)

 Benue State Governor, Gabriel Suswam escaped death by whiskers yesterday, Friday November 14th, as his convoy was involved a ghastly road accident.

 According to reports the accident which happened at Angbaaye, a few kilometres after Makurdi, the state capital.however, left eight people injured.

 Governor Suswam and his deputy were on their way to an official assignment in Wannune, Tarka Local Government Area and Gboko when the accident occurred.

 According to an eyewitness, an oncoming vehicle which overtook another vehicle lost control, somersaulted, then hit the spare vehicle of the governor as well as the vehicle in which both the governor and his deputy were travelling.

 The governor’s spare vehicle was badly damaged while the impact of the accident on the on coming vehicle was very severe. See more photos below....
