After weeks of hide and seek game with her fans, Nollywood actress Mercy Johnson has finally revealed her growing baby bump.
The mother of two who is now heavy with her third child celebrated her 31st recently at her Ajah home in Lagos Stare. Mercy Johnson is set to deliver her third child before Christmas.

Nollywood actress Mercy Johnson is one of the few movie stars with the ability to put colour in any role giving.
The Kogi-born mother of two is popular for starring in romantic movies before she got married.
Luckily for the beautiful mother of two, she has been able to achieve stability in her marriage. However, she recently opened up on her romantic roles in movies and how she doesn’t get carried away while playing her role.
She said:
“Whenever there is need to for romantic roles, I close my eyes and say this could have been avoided. I don’t really feel anything. We only teach with our roles.

One of the best feelings one can have is the feeling that some people who have never met you in person have your back. I have experienced love from unimaginable people; Ghana, Liberia, Paris, UK, USA, Seychelles and all over the world.
Some met me crying, gave me gifts, took pictures, asked questions, and some, not so pleasant. But in all of these, I have no complaint because being where I am is a gift and privilege by God. A privilege and a place I never thought I would be, a few years ago.
This level has its own attendant consequence, as I take in the blessing; I appreciate the not-so-pleasant side as well. For this, I am grateful to God, my fans, and stakeholders in the industry who love me just the way I am.
I want to also say a very big thank you to my husband for giving me room to fly. Some men out there would probably have clipped my wings but Odi is not some kind of man. I want to say thank you for being so supportive and understanding.
I want to take this time to say thank you to everyone who made the journey of 2014 easier despite the attendant challenges. I am grateful to the marketers and my colleagues who stayed in touch with me even when I was pregnant, directors who were patient with me, fans who watched all the movies of 2014, those who took time out to search for me on Google, who corrected me in love and those who watched ‘30 Days in Atlanta’ (to make it biggest Nollywood movie in cinema history). I am also grateful to everyone who showed me one form of love or the other during the birth of our second son, Prince Henry: Nigerian Emabssy in the US, social media followers and my ever diligent media and management company, Bigsam Media.
I plan and hope that 2015 will be different from previous years. The jobs I will do will be slightly different from that of the past. I will take up more challenges. I will also have to balance things out because I still have to play the role of a wife and mother, but all in all, there should be a new Mercy Johnson of sort.
As per the style, I have received all your complaints and I will try and improve but please, do not forget I am just a down-to-earth-girl-next-door. Thank you.

Nollywood Actress, Mercy Johnson Okojie has decided to suspend acting for the meantime due to her maternity schedules.
Confirming reports that she’s been rejecting movie roles because of her pregnancy status, her Media Aide, Bigsam media, said “she’s off work and resting”. Mercy is now in her second trimester,Mercy threw herself back into the acting world after the delivery of her first child, Purity in 2012, shooting over 20 movies in three quarters.

Mercy Johnson Okojie turned 29 years yesterday, 28th August, she shared a word of advise to all her fans, while also thanking them for all the love shown to her and the birthday wishes she received, read message below.....
''Today, I thought of many things I would love to have as birthday gifts and the many dreams I am still pursuing.
In all of this I'm not losing sight of the fact that if not for God I might have ended up on the street like the many kids and young adults begging for food and some prostituting to make ends meet.
If we know the circumstances that force some of these people on the street, we would spare a thought for them. I am where I am today purely by the grace of God and the grace of people who believed in me from the word go.
Recently, I was at the Boys Reform Home, Oregun, Lagos, the discussion I had with the principal Mr. Kotun and much later with the Special Adviser in charge of allremand homes in Lagos set me thinking about the boys and girls on the street. They have dreams too.
Can they fulfill those dreams on the street? The answer will likely be no; because I won't be where I am today if I ended up on the street.
For this reason, Mercy Johnson Foundation will be doing a lot to get kids off the street.
We are not asking people for money or donation, I will do all I can with the resources God has given me, and with the support of my husband to help get these kids off the street and set them on the path where they can begin to pursue their dreams.
I want to plead with people, fans, friends and colleagues to spare a thought for the children on the street.
We can begin by educating people around us, parents, the children and people in charge of children (Oga-house help relationship, teacher-student relationship, and others) on the need to treat every child like the future of Nigeria depends on it.
And truth be told, our future will not be all that enjoyable if we let the scourge of 'street-children' fester. By then, the rich will begin to cry.
I learnt Lagos State Government has 11 homes where most children picked from the streets are kept, reformed and reunited with their families after counseling.
That is an initiative Mercy Johnson Foundation will be supporting and beyond that we will be going to different states to help spread the message-Get kids off the street, save the future.
From tomorrow, I will begin to replay some of the lessons I learnt at the boys' reform home and we all can contribute to getting the kids off the street.
