Prophetess Charged To Court Over N2.7M Deliverance

A childless housewife, Mrs. Folashade Giwa is now counting her losses after she was made to part with about N2.7m for "deliverance" by a Lagos based prophetess, Christiana Ajibola.

The 60-year-old prophetess whose church is located at 36, Odewale Street in Alagbado, Lagos, has been taken to Ojokoro magistrate’s court on charges of fraud and stealing.

Apart from allegedly defrauding Mrs. Folashade of the said amount, the prophetess is also being accused of initiating her to serve a goddess which the police described in the charge sheet as "man-made-god".

The story started when Mrs. Folashade visited the prophet to seek prayers for the fruit of the womb. The prophetess told her that before she could bear a child, she will undergo deliverance during which she will be "purified".

The prophetess, it was leant, also told her that the currency she pays will determine how speedily her prayer will be answered.

She told her that if she pay in pounds sterling or dollars, her prayers will be answered faster. But if she pay in naira, her prayers will still be answered but not as fast as dollars and pounds sterling. As a result, Mrs. Folashade paid in pounds sterling and dollars so that she could have her own child on time.

According to court document, the woman made payment of £4,500 and $10,000 and cash of N289,000. The total naira equivalent she paid was about N2.7m million.

It was further gathered that the prophetess placed her under several oaths that she should not tell to anyone about her experience. But when her desire to have a child did not materialized as the prophet promised and she could not get her N2.7million, Mrs. Folashade reported the matter at Alagbado Police Station.

Consequently, the prophetess was arrested and charged to court. The offence she committed, according to the prosecutor, Mr. Thomas Nurudeen, was contrary to section 419, 390 and 210 of the criminal act, cap 17 vol. 2 law of Lagos State of Nigeria, 2000.

When the charges were read to her, she pleaded not guilty. The presiding magistrate, Mrs. A.F. Adeeyo, granted her bail in the sum of N500,000 with two sureties in like sum.

The matter was then adjourned till February 21, 2012, for further hearing.

Prostitutes Rape Pastors in Delta State

Two men of God were over the weekend allegedly lured to patronise harlots at a popular brothel at Cable Point, Asaba, the Delta State capital, when they went there to preach to the ladies of easy virtue.

NEWSMEN learnt that the pastors from a very popular church along Ibusa Road in the state had visited the area to convert and win over the s*x workers to their church, but they were themselves seduced by the prostitutes who had s*x with them and later burnt their Bibles and clothes.

Sources said the men of God (their names withheld) had resolved in one of their meetings to win many converts, especially the prostitutes who stay in brothels, in order for them to grow their church's membership.

Cable Point is a notorious stop-over for hoodlums and has the largest number of brothels and casinos in the south-south region.

An eyewitness said that preachers had gained audience with the harlots but after a period of time they were disoriented by the sudden display of br*asts and other revealing body parts which reportedly hypnotized the preachers. Their hosts then took them into their rooms where they were said to have performed 'quickies.'

LEADERSHIP learnt that fight broke out when the evangelists regained their composure and insisted on not paying the harlots' bills, arguing that that was not their original mission. During the scuffle, they ladies reportedly burnt the pastors' Bibles and clothes

After two weeks fasting, randy pastor impregnates teenager!

Once in a while, we hear of wolf-in-sheep-clothing men of God who go on rampage sowing their wild oats all over the places.

Such perversions became a true life drama recently when a certain Pastor Abugu, after a two-week fasting on a hill, came home only to commit an unholy act, one day after returning from his spiritual cleansing. He had s*x with a teenager who paid him a visit.

The 17-year-old girl, whose name is Joy Ezebuiro, is now carrying a two-month old pregnancy for the “man of God”.

The girl, a native of Ezinihite in Mbaise, Imo State, thought she was going on a visit to greet someone who she described as being “like a brother to me”. Indeed she was given a warm reception by the ‘brother pastor’ who told her he had been desirous of seeing her for a ‘closed door discussion’. The story ended on a sour note as she became a victim of his randy urge.

In a chat with Entertainment Express, the nervous teenager who is expectant with a two-month-old pregnancy was all tears as she narrates the sequence of events that led to her current tribulation: “There is a mountain that he normally goes to anytime he wants to engage in a long fasting”, she begins.

“On September 16, 2011, he called me and told me that he would be taking off for the mountain and that he would start fasting the following day which was September 17, and that I should not bother calling him because his phone would be switched off. So I told him to remember me in his prayers.”

When Pastor Abugu returned from the mountain 14 days later on September 30, he came back with a ‘bursting’ libido. The following day, October 1, on Independence Day, Joy decided to visit him at his residence at No 38 Sukanmi Street, Oke Ota-Ona, Ikorodu, Lagos.

The distraught girl recalls the decisive moment of that accursed visit: “He shared his experiences on the mountain with me; then suddenly, everything changed - his voice and the way he stared at me. Few minutes later, he was on top of me”, she recounts tearfully.

The victim clarifies the relationship existing between her and the randy pastor prior to their unholy tango on October 1. She affirms: “We used to worship in the same church before he left for another church where he was made an assistant pastor. I took him as my elder brother.”

While her family is “crying blue murder” that their daughter was raped by the randy pastor who they described as a ‘black sheep’, the girl, on the contrary (perhaps for fear of escalating the scandal) insists that “he did not rape me.”Though the s*xual advances were strange and unsolicited for, Joy affirms that she neither resisted nor raised an alarm. Her position makes the “unholy communion” anything but rape, as it is being alleged by her enraged family members and close friends.

On whether Pastor Abugu has accepted responsibility for the pregnancy, the confused teenager says: “He said he doesn’t have money for anything now; therefore, I should look for money to abort the pregnancy, but later he would refund me the sum”.

When contacted over the phone for his own side of the story about the pregnancy ruckus, an angry Pastor Abugu raves: “how is that your business?” Then he switches off his phone.

Two Nigerian Pastors Raped By 'Born Again' Prostitutes

Two men of God were over the weekend lured to patronise die-hard prostitutes at a popular brothel at Cable Point, Asaba, the Delta State capital, when they went there to preach to the ladies of easy virtue with a view to convert them into born again.

From a very popular church along Ibusa Road in the state had visited the area on that faithful day to convert and win over some s*x workers to their church, but they were themselves seduced by the prostitutes who forcefully had s*x with them.

Sources say the pastors (names withheld) had resolved in one of their after-church meetings to try and win more converts, especially prostitutes who stay in brothels within the area, in order for them to grow their church’s membership.

An eyewitness said the preachers had gained audience with the harlots but minutes later they were disoriented by the sudden display of br*asts and other revealing body parts which reportedly hypnotized the preachers. The ladies then capitalize on the men's 'weakness' at that point in time to performed ‘quickies’ with them.

It was learnt that fight later broke out when the pastors regained their composure and insisted on not paying the harlots’ any money as requested, arguing that that was not their original mission. During the scuffle, the ladies reportedly burnt the pastors’ clothes before those around could intervened.

Nigerian Pastors Who Are Enemies (part 1) - The genesis of all their quarrel

I have nothing to do with this article . I didn't write it, and I didn't even type it. Read it in Yes! Magazine and got my younger sis to type it out. All I did was copy from MS word, paste here and post it. So this has got nothing to do wiv me...:-). Check it out below...

Culled from Yes! Magazine.
You can call it subtle enmity, if you like. But the truth remains that some of our leading pastors are not the best of friends.

As a matter of fact while some have been hiding theirs for years, there are those that even up till now cannot stand each other. Not only do they not talk, they readily abuse themselves whenever time permits. Come with us, and let us unmask these preachers of the word as well as serve you the genesis of all their quarrel.

CHRIS OYAKHILOME / T.B JOSHUA AND CHRIS OKOTIE:

We doubt whether there’s been any war like theirs in Christendom. Hugging the covers of nearly all the major papers in the country for weeks, even the Nigerian police, Pentecostal fellowship of Nigeria and Christian association of Nigeria had to wade in at some point.

Okotie, founder of household of God church, accused his next door neighbour, Oyakhilome, of Christ embassy, of hobnobbing with Joshua, whom he described as a shamman, thus, contaminating the Body of Christ.

And hell was literally let loose. Other men of God took sides and the war raged and raged. Till today, Okotie and Oyakhilome don’t relate. Likewise Okotie and Joshua, front man of synagogue church of all nations.

CHRIS OKOTIE/ANSLEM MADUBUKO:

Their disagreement then shocked a lot of people. Do you know why? Both of them used to be so close. They attended the same University of Nigeria, Nsukka where the fire of their friendship was ignited; were each other’s ‘best man’ and so on.

Even when Okotie was reigning as a pop star, madubuko was backing him up from a corner as a D.J.

With the coming of household of God church, Okotie put Madubuko in charge of the healing ministry. Then, one day, one unforgettable day, he ordered madubuko out of the church – with a stern warning never to step into the church again.

Of course, things ceased to be the same again for the two former close friends – even though, lately they’ve been trying to patch it up.
DAVID OYEDEPO/TUNDE BAKARE:

Hate him, like him, Pastor Tunde Bakare does not care. One other noticeable thing about him is that there is nobody he cannot chastise in the body of Christ or take on, one on one.

Obviously the Pentecostal radical, Bakare is not a supporter of some of the things they do Oyedepo winners chapel – for example, anointing oil, handkerchief and so on – and repeatedly, he has criticized that.

Even though Oyedepo has never responded to his criticisms, it should be expected that he wouldn’t be happy with him. Bakare pastors the latter rain assembly while Oyedepo is the G.O of winners’ chapel.

PATRICK ANWUZIA/JOSEPH AGBOLI

Anwuzia and Agboli are brothers. They both come from Delta state and used to have a very chummy relationship until a wedge of asunder was put in between them. Like Adeyemi and Adegboyega, Agboli used to work for Anwuzia.

But upon deciding to run with his destiny, palaver started – and till today, it still hasn’t been properly sorted out. Anwuzia started Zoe Ministries while Agboli is behind Victorious Army Ministries

SAM ADEYEMI/GEORGE ADEGBOYEGA

Adeyemi pastors Daystar Christian centre while Adegboyega is in charge of Rhema Chapel International. Before now, however, the former used to work for the latter.

In fact, he was in charge of the latter’s Lagos branch and until he exited the ministry, both of them had a fantastic relationship. The rythm of the music only changed when Adeyemi said he wanted to be on his own.

And till date, the relationship hasn’t been restored to its former state – owing majorly to how some issues were handled at the thick of the crisis.
