Bakare, el-Rufai, advocate revolution

Convener, Save Nigeria Group, Tunde Bakare, former FCT minister Nasir el-Rufai and others have urged Nigerians to prepare for a revolution, Punch reports.

Did Mallam El-Rufai say CAN has a PDP branch or CAN is a branch of PDP?

We all heard that CAN president, Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor, yesterday received a private jet as a birthday gift from his church members. Some of you approved. Some of you didn't! Former FCT minister, Mallam Nasir El Rufai is one of those who didn't approve, and he made it known on Twitter. See what he wrote above? LMAO!

Reno Omokri, President Goodluck Jonathan's special assistant on new media, took him on. See hilarious Tweets after the cut...

El-Rufai Mocks Patience Jonathan on her Return.

Malam Nasir Elrufai, the pint sized former minister of the FCT and now CPC Chieftain who was a recipient of President Jonathan's sympathy when he lost his daughter last year has turned around to pay the President back in evil coin by mocking his wife's return and spreading lies about the First Lady.

In a note he put on his Facebook page ((https://www.facebook.com/nasirelrufai, Elrufai published claims that the First Lady completely ignored thousands of PDP women well wishers who had trooped to the airport to welcome the First Lady. The note claimed that "Mrs. Jonathan was eased into the official vehicle from the plane. She neither waved, acknowledged, nor addressed the hundreds of well-wishers waiting for her".

However, the First Lady was shown on television waving to well wishers and acknowledging greetings. She also gave an interview to newsmen. So where did Elrufai got the false information he has been spreading?

REVEALED! Why El-Rufai Was Detained By SSS

This was how the saga all started: "The SSS at the Lagos Airport tell me they have orders to detain me and prevent me from traveling....the waiting game starts...." About 24 hours after Farouk Lawan was barred from travelling to Saudi Arabia over "flimsy excuses", an almost similar fate befell the former Minister of the FCT, Malam Nasir El-Rufai.

The controversial former minister of the FCT was detained by operatives of the State Security Services, SSS, following "orders from above", a security source told newsmen. When asked the possible reason for their action the source said "it is complicated".

He told newsmen that the federal government have since put some prominent politicians under watch and that Mallam El-Rufai is among "those on the watch list". Their every movement will henceforth be checked and "scrutinized for links with illegal groups."

When asked the implications of such "watch", the source told newsmen that the precarious security situation in the country called for extra-ordinary measures. "We are not hunting anyone but every body must be ready to corporate for the good of the country". However, after some security checks, El-Rufai was released. He tweeted again: “Where is your boarding pass? This is your passport. You can go sir...”

El-Rufai Mocks ThisDay, Jonathan Over Bombings

In a stunning show of extreme callousness and lack of empathy at the loss of lives in the double bombings perpetrated on the premises of ThisDay Newspapers in Abuja and Kaduna, Malam Nasir El-Rufai, the controversial former minister of the FCT mocked the Goodluck Jonathan administration and ThisDay on a posting on his twitter profile.

According to Naija Pundit, what is even more shocking about Elrufai's act is that he is a member of the editorial board of Thisday and has a regular Friday column on the back page of the paper.

Amazingly, after mocking the government, Elrufai called for dialogue with Boko Haram. Below are the tweets from Mallam El-Rufai...
If you ask me, I think Naija Pundit got it wrong. The man was not necessarily mocking ThisDay or the Jonathan government. It seems he was only using the opportunity to reiterate his call for the government to dialogue with the dreaded sect as a means to end the continuous killings of innocent Nigerians.

Jonathan Is Using Boko Haram Against North--El-Rufai

The best Minister that Abuja has ever had, Malam Nasir El-Rufai has accused President Goodluck Jonathan of using Boko Haram as an excuse to commit genocide against the North.

While calling for the withdrawal of soldiers from cities in the North, Malam El-Rufai went further to accuse the FG of being behind Boko Haram which he claimed was a ploy to 'finish' certain people. He made these allegations on the social media platform, Twitter.

(See his tweets below) However, in a reaction to El-Rufai's call, the Counter Terrorism Coordinator, Major-General SarkinYaki Bello said such a call cannot not be justified at the moment. "What is the alternative? So, for us professionals, I think that question is ill-advised and I don’t support it.

"I can’t just see the rationale of somebody saying that we should withdraw the military from the streets where they are. In the first place, they must have been deployed because of a particular security challenge and to me when that challenge is over, then the military could be withdrawn," he said. Here are Malam El-Rufai's tweets:

“Do you think any Minister can take such a harsh decision now?, he quipped, saying that PDP in 2007 is quite different from what we have now.

On ways out of the present security challenges facing the country,el-Rufai stated that there can be no peace without justice, stressing that the foundation for security is to have justice and accountability, alleging that a situation whereby officials divert public funds for their personal use and refuse to do what should be done to better the lots of the ordinary Nigerians is always greeted with insecurity and other social vices.
