Nigeria's Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested Aminu and Mustapha Lamido, both, sons of Jigawa State Governor, Sule Lamido, over an alleged money laundering, said to be worth over about N10 billion .
It was learnt that Aminu and Mustapha Lamido were picked up in Kano on Thursday and flown to Abuja on Friday morning, and are currently being interrogated by operatives of the anti-graft agency at the EFCC headquarters in Abuja.
The Acting Head of Media of EFCC, Wilson Uwajeren, confirmed the arrest on Friday in a telephone interview with our correspondent, adding that the brothers were arrested for money laundering.
