Nor be we talk am oh. Read below to find details and if you have watched it please come back and comment oh. As an addict of Nollywood movies and a partner on IrokoTV, you know watching new movies won’t be an issue so far you have an internet data running on your pc. Some few days back, lets say, 2 weeks to be precise, Rukky’s new movie starring Yvonne Nelson and a host of others was shared and placed on the PLUS section on Iroko, meaning, only those who have a paid account can see the movie..
This happens to be the movie’s description; A delusional, star struck groupie is searching for her ideal man, with the caveat that he must be rich and famous, however the men that she desires to be with tire quickly of her. Rukky Sanda, Yvonne Nelson, Alex Ekubo. Directed by Rukky Sanda.
A pained viewer shared this: “Like always, I read the comments before I watch a movie. Lol I must say that most of the distasteful/rude comments are completely true! I never give comments any mind but geee! I couldn’t get through 15mins of the film. It was poor and horrible in all areas: plot, mechanics, music, scene duration, and shooting! Rukky was trying to pull the “Black Paris Hilton” role, it wasn’t working. She looked retarded, Idk what would drive her to actually go through with this production. All those who supported/funded this film are idiots. Lmao the only good thing about this hideous movie is the cast, great actors/actresses across the board (excluding Rukky). Horrible, terrible, gruesome, complete waste of time. Well the puppy was cute, the owner can’t even speak proper english, complete rubbish.”
Truth be told, I actually watched up to 30mins of the movie, though with a lot of skipping, I must say, this movie is a total waste of talent (Yvonne’s and Alex’s) + a total waste of funds (Rukky’s). Like seriously, what was she thinking??? Though star studded, Gold digging is an EPIC fail, with loads of people who have viewed it since its release date and a low percentage rating, one which no nollywood movie has gotten since the beggining of time, it is well worthy to say, DON’T WATCH THIS MOVIE FOR ANY REASON WHATSOEVER!
