There was chaos in the University of Maiduguri in the early hours of today, at about 1am, after students heard what sounded like bomb blasts near their school.
According to these tweets by a student at the school, they heard sounds of explosions and exchange of gun fire. Students panicked and ran for cover. But eventually, all was calm again hours later.
