This is the height of hypocrisy, beware of political preachers!!!

I am not rooting for President Good-luck Jonathan or against Ministers speaking their mind to their congregation but what i distaste from men in authority is hypocrisy. I really don't want Jonathan to come back because he failed Nigerians and i think if i get the chance to meet him or his wife, i will speak my grievance so they can learn the truth. How can a preacher (Reverend Father Ejike Mbaka of Adoration Ministry Enugu) who openly praised President Goodluck in front of his wife on national television come to sing another song less than 2 months after. A man is valued by his words, his words are his integrity and if this was a civilized society, this preacher or whatever he is will be forced to resign. This is how NTA reported the visit of the First lady to the clergy man:
The Spiritual Director of the Adoration Ministry Enugu, Reverend Father Ejike Mbaka says, his Ministry is committed to praying and seeking God's fulfilment in the re-election of president Goodluck Jonathan in the 2015 elections.
Reverend Father Ejike made the declaration when he hosted First Lady, Dame Patience Jonathan at the 2014 Adoration Harvest thanksgiving and bazaar in Enugu

After the speech, you can see the first lady saying she was encouraged by his sermon. If he only said the truth to the poor woman as a message from God, she would have gone back to Aso rock to trouble her husband on the state of the nation but she was deceived like the countless ministers and preachers  close to the president that he is actually doing a good job. They say they are lead by the holy spirit and i wonder what is holy about a cowardice spirit who cannot speak the truth when it is needed. His words are no different from the ordinary man on the street, but position and luck are what makes their voice heard. The bible say "Judge not" but also said "by their fruits, you shall know them", so followers should be careful who they listen to. God is not the author of confusion, he doesn't play partisan politics. People should be taught to think for themselves and not follow religious leaders blindly because they have been part of the problems of Nigeria. The clergy lucky enough to be be close to the President becomes his puppet while the others find the nearest tent to perch.

The point i am trying to make is that, preachers who are not credidle cannot be trusted, stand for truth at all times and not when the highest bidder comes or when you are not in the presence of the culprit.Political and religious leaders have all failed Nigeria and Nigerians,so it is high time people learn to trust their own instinct and not people who abuse their position to cause great harm to the nation.

Patience Jonathan denies undergoing cosmetic surgery in Germany

The First Lady who came back into the country today from her 2-months medical trip has denied undergoing cosmetic surgery in Germany. When asked by reporters at the airport tarmac if that was what she went to Germany for, Patience Jonathan vehemently denied it. I listened and even recorded her answer on STV 10 0'clock news and below are her exact words
God knows I have never been to that hospital. I don't even know where that hospital is. I do not have terminal illness, or rather any cosmetic surgery, more or less tummy-tuck. My husband loves me who I am and I am pleased with how God created me.

I cannot add but the same time I will use this opportunity to thank my beloved husband and my children and my staff in general and all Nigerians. The men on the street for standing behind me during my trial time. But God has given me a second chance to come and work with the women of Nigeria, the children and the less privileged and the needy. I have come to serve Nigerians

President Jonathan pays secret visit to wife in Germany

A short news item aired on the Nigerian Television Authority at 9pm showed President Goodluck Jonathan paid a secret visit to his wife, Patience, in Germany on Saturday. The news item was accompanied by a short video clip showing the President and his gorgeously dressed wife, who is reported to be sick of an undisclosed ailment in Germany.

Patience, who was in high spirit was heard saying, “Let me take picture with my husband.” When contacted, Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Dr. Reuben Abati, confirmed that the President visited his wife in Germany on Saturday and that Jonathan returned to the country on Sunday.

He said the video clip aired by NTA was a confirmation that the President’s wife was hale and hearty contrary to what some people wanted Nigerians to believe. He said, “What that video has proved is that the President’s wife is hale and hearty and she is not in bad shape like people will want Nigerians to believe.

The video has put paid to all the lies that people who play politics with almost everything have been spreading.”

However, unconfirmed report had it that unlike in past trips when the President was always accompanied by NTA reporter and cameraman, the video clip that formed the backbone of the television report was actually sent to the station on Sunday.

That claim fuelled the speculation that the clip might have been recorded during the President’s stop over in Germany during his recent trip to New York for the last United Nations General Assembly.

First Lady’s Health: Presidency goes spiritual, seeks special prayers

Patience Jonathan
The First Lady, Dame Patience Jonathan, left the country as a result of ill-heath, the Presidency has resorted to prayers to quicken her recovery and return to the country.

Dame Jonathan, a serving Permanent Secretary in Bayelsa, her home state, was reportedly flown to a German specialist hospital two weeks ago for an undisclosed medical treatment. But the Presidency has kept mum over her health condition and whereabouts.

When the media broke the sudden disappearance of Mrs. Jonathan from the country, the Presidency was forced to admit that ‘she went to take a rest’ but neither disclosed the country where she was observing the rest nor when she was expected back at the Aso Rock Presidential Villa.  While a section of the media speculated that she went for an operation, others claimed she was admitted for food poisoning treatment.

But Sunday Vanguard learnt yesterday that the condition of Dame Jonathan, who was reported to be recuperating and expected back in the country since last week, was still causing some concerns to her husband, President Goodluck Jonathan, and her handlers.

It was gathered that the Presidency had asked close associates and friends of the First Lady to continue to render unceasing intercessory prayers for the woman to recover from her ailment.

A source close to the Presidency confirmed that the daily morning devotion, which Jonathan and her wife usually attend at the Villa, is being used to offer special prayers for the First Lady. The source said, “The President, as you know, is a very devoted person who has been praying for the wife and those of us who are close to them do not stop to pray for her as well.

“Yesterday (Friday), a special prayer session was conducted for her and we know that God Almighty has already healed her of whatever is afflicting her and that she will soon join us as she used to do every morning.” There were speculations, last night, that the woman would soon be back in the country but none of the presidential spokespersons was willing to talk on the issue.

Calls put to Dr. Reuben Abati, the Presidential Media Adviser and Dr. Doyin Okupe, the Special Adviser on Public Affairs, were not responded to. While an online news portal has maintained that she underwent a surgery in Germany, others speculate that she had food poisoning and had been admitted in Italy.

Despite the claims and counter-claims over Dame Jonathan’s condition, her spokesman, Mr. Ayo Osinlu, has insisted that the President’s wife traveled out of the country to take a “moment’s rest.”

My Wife Is Very Much Alive Says President Jonathan

The state of health of the First Lady, Patience Jonathan remains a controversial subject even as many Nigerians have expressed displeasure with the level of secrecy surrounding her illness and the manner she was "smuggled" out of the country.

However, credible sources in the Presidency disclosed that President Goodluck Jonathan added a new confusion to the drama on his return to Nigeria from a foreign trip.

He was said to have told his close men that, contrary to rumours making the rounds, Patience was still alive but refused to give more details about her health condition.

The president, according to what newsmen gathered, is not in a happy mood, a situation that has further fuelled speculations in Aso Rock that the First Lady might be in a bad shape.

None of his aides were willing to give details on the matter as at the time of reporting.

BREAKING NEWS: Patience Jonathan Rumoured To Have Died In German Hospital??

There are unconfirmed reports leaking from some of Aso Rock's staff with regards to the health of the nation's first lady, Dr. Mrs. Patience Dame Ebere Jonathan; according to the reports the first lady's health is getting worse and some other reports claim the first lady might have di*d since yesterday.

This rumor is further fueled by the president's hasty departure from his recent state city to the nation of Bostwana, Jonathan arrived this morning in Gaborone, the capital of Botswana, after a state visit to Malawi. He was scheduled to stay in Botswana untill tomorrow.

However, Jonathan hurriedly left for the airport in Gaborone in the middle of a state luncheon. After hopping on a helicopter to visit a mine, he returned to the airport and hurriedly met members of the Nigerian community.

He then got on his presidential jet and took off, leaving his ministers and other members of his delegation behind in Botswana. Our source said that Mr. Jonathan told a few members of the delegation that he was headed back to Abuja.

But, according to the source, several members of the president’s entourage suspect he may be headed for Germany to see his wife, Patience Jonathan, who is being admitted at a hospital in Wiesbaden, Germany.

“The president appeared to be in a pensive mood as he left Botswana,” our source said. I truly hope our mummy and first lady makes it back to Nigeria alive, we as a nation do not need this now.

All these reports are getting scary I have told my correspondences to keep a very close eyes and ear on this hi profile case.

First Lady bodyguard allegedly pulls a gun at Immigration Officer

Nigeria’s First Lady, Dame Patience Jonathan is out of the country. According to aviation and presidency sources, the First Lady left Abuja for Europe a few hours ago.

Dame Patience Jonathan’s trip, according to Presidency sources, is for medical reasons. “Madam went overseas for medical reasons and nothing else. She is not well and had to go see her doctors.”

Elendureports.com asked the source if the doctor’s appointment was made previously or if it was an emergency. The source simply replied: “I do not know. I have told you all I know.”

The First Lady’s departure was not without some mild drama. At the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport where she departed from an Immigration officer was alleged to have been threatened by one of the First Lady’s bodyguards.

According to sources at the airport, one of the First Lady’s bodyguards had taken her passport to be stamped at the Immigration desk. The Immigration officer observed that certain documents did not accompany the passport. Also, the State Security Service (SSS) should have stamped the passport before being presenting it to the Immigration desk. The officer informed Dame Patience’s bodyguard to get the proper documentations and stamp before presenting the passport to her.

Elendureports was told that Dame Jonathan’s bodyguard insisted that the passport should be stamped immediately by the officer. When the Immigration officer refused to yield, the bodyguard allegedly pulled out a service revolver and ordered her to stamp the passport.

It is not known when the First Lady is scheduled to return from her trip.

Airports in Nigeria have not been operating normally due to the on-going nationwide strike called by the Nigeria Labour Congress and Trade Union Congress to protest the removal of fuel subsidy.

Patience Jonathan Illegally Awards N5bn Building Contract

It was like a scene in a movie on Wednesday, December 13, 2011 when top senior staff of Institute for Peace and Conflict Resolution, Abuja, a parastatal established by a government Gazette in 2007 resumed for work only to be told to pack their files because the First Lady, Dame Patience Jonathan needs their offices.

It was gathered that three-quarters of the office complex has been re-allocated to the African First Lady Peace Initiative, a non Governmental Organization of the First Lady.

It was authoritatively gathered that the Director-General of the Institute, Dr Joseph H.P Golwa was summoned to the Presidential Villa, Aso Rocks, Abuja and given matching others to evacuate two-third of the Institute’s staff from its operational base located at Cental Area, Abuja.

Shortly after the Aso Rock’s meeting, we learnt that some officials of the office of the First Lady visited the office of the Institute in company of a white man suspected to be the contractor contracted to rehabilitate the Institute’s building.

Dame Patience and President Jonathan The contractor, it was gathered, was told to create a separate gate, reception and other conveniences for the First Lady for a contract sum of N5 billion . Presidential sources, however, claim that the renovation of the building was awarded for N500million.

The contract, NEWSMEN learnt, was not captured in this year’s budget. Besides, the office of the First Lady is not known to the First and Second Amended 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. NWSMEN reliably informed that the ejection order served staffers of the Institute dislocated four Directors, the whole of the accounts department and more than half of the Institute’s researchers.

The affected directors include the Director of Research and Policy Analysis, Director of Democracy, Director of Defence and Security and the Chief Accountant of the Institute. “Right now, one wing of the Institute has been taken over. They took over the main gate, the parking spaces and the reception area. You will be sorry for our staff as the white man came and gave us 24 hours to pack our office equipments.

The Directors were so helpless but they could not say a word for fear of being victimized”, the source stressed. Attempts to speak with the Chief Press Secretary to the First Lady, Mr Ayo Oshinlu on his Glo mobile number that ends with 806 were unsuccessful.

He refused to pick his calls since last week but a Presidential source informed us that the issue was a closed one, adding that the attention of the First Lady is being channeled towards an International engagement in the first quarter of next year. Some civil servants in Abuja wondered why the First Lady did not consider buying a property with the money budgeted for the renovation.

They argued that Late Mrs Maryam Babangida used the money she realised from her NGO to build the Women Development Centre located adjacent the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN. Wife of the late maximum dictator, General Sani Abacha, Mariam, through her NGO build the now popular National Hospital, Abuja, it is located near the bombed United Nations House, Abuja. Late wife of Former President, Stella Obasanjo built a structure and began operation at Bwari, Abuja for her NGO, Child Care.
