Breaking News:Another School Shooting Hits The USA (PHOTOS)

 Dozens of heavily armed officers swarmed Lone Star College around 12:50 p.m. Students were seen fleeing buildings while others huddled in classrooms. Gunshots rang out at a Houston community college  on Tuesday, leaving a maintenance worker severely wounded and sparking panic across campus in what was the fifth school shooting in six weeks.

Two men were arguing near the library of Lone Star College in north Houston around 12:50 p.m. when one of the men pulled a handgun and fired off several shots, acting Harris County Sheriff Maj. Armando Tello said during a news conference.


A maintenance worker was caught in the crossfire and stuck by a bullet in the leg. The victim, who is in his mid-50s, was in stable condition at Ben Taub General Hospital, medical officials said.

 The two men involved in the altercation were in police custody, and both were hurt. A law enforcement official told KHOU-TV that one of the men shot the other man he was arguing with several times and then accidentally shot himself in the buttocks. The man shot multiple times is in critical condition at a local hospital. In addition, a woman with a student ID suffered a "medical condition" during the stressful incident, Tello said.

The gunshots elicited widespread panic across the busy college campus, with students rushing from buildings and huddling for safety in classrooms. "All you could hear was like five or six shots, and we saw everybody running," said student Jose Del Reyes, who was studying in the library. "People were running and screaming. We tried to get out, but nobody would let us out," he said.

"We were just so scared," he said. 

Student Mark Zaragosa said he had just come out of an EMT class when he saw two people bleeding from gunshot wounds on the normally quiet  campus. Cops had not yet arrived. 
“One gentleman  had a gunshot to the knee and the (other) actually had an entry wound to the lower buttocks area,” Zaragosa told KHOU. 

Keisha Cohn, 27, who also is studying to be a paramedic, said she heard “no less than five” shots and started running. She holed up in the campus learning center alongside other people fearing for their lives. 

Daniel Flores, 19, described the barrage as sounding “like someone was kicking a door.”

What sparked the argument between the two men was still unclear, but "one individual did have a student identification," Tello said.

Police would not say whether the incident was gang related.

Dozens of heavily armed officers swarmed the campus and barricaded streets in the adjoining neighborhood.

"This hits close to home," a frantic witness told KTRK-TV. "What you see on TV is real ... you realize it could be me," she said.

 School officials said the school was placed on lockdown, issuing an alert that read, "Students, Faculty and Staff are advised to take immediate shelter where you are. Do not enter the campus until notified further."

Several students told KTRK they did not receive a text message or email about an emergency on campus and instead relied on word of mouth from faculty and classmates.

Four nearby grade school were also placed on lockdown.

While the Texas Legislature is considering a plan to allow guns on college campuses, Lone Star College campuses are actually gun-free zones, according to Richard Carpenter, chancellor of the Lone Star College System, which has an enrollment of 90,000 students and six college campuses.

The shooting was the fifth on a school campus in recent weeks. On Dec. 14, a gunman killed 20 students and six educators at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn. A month later, a student brought a shotgun into Taft Union High School in Taft, Calif., shooting a student and grazing his teacher. On Jan. 15, two people were shot dead in the parking lot at Hazard Community and Technical College in Eastern Kentucky. The same day, a part-time student at Stevens Institute of Business & Arts in St. Louis shot the school's financial aid director.

Despite the recent onslaught of violence, the Texas attorney general invited New Yorkers last week to move to Texas — with their guns — because the state is so welcoming of weaponry.

21-Year-Old Mum St**bs Her Newborn Baby To D***th Hours After Giving Birth

A 21-year-old Georgia woman was arrested Thursday after police say she st**bbed to d**th her infant son just hours after giving birth to him. According to officials, the mother, Cassandra Elyse Norwood, delivered the baby in secret and without any assistance in the Athens home where she lived with her parents and other relatives.

 Norwood was taken to a hospital to be treated for delivery-related blood loss where she remained under guard before being transported to Clarke County Jail Friday morning. Athens-Clarke police told the Athens Banner-Herald the 21-year-old was alone in one part of the house on Great Oak Drive when she gave birth Thursday afternoon.

 At around 1pm, police received a 911 call from someone who had found the baby’s lifeless body inside the residence in the Waverly Woods subdivision. First responders who arrived on the scene discovered the slain infant. Shortly after, Norwood was taken into custody and charged with murder before being sent to Athens Regional Medical Center.

 Police would not speculate about the motive behind the deadly stabbing, only saying that Norwood did not require psychiatric care while at the hospital. Norwood’s Facebook page says the 21-year-old, who has three siblings, graduated from Cedar Shoals High School in 2009. She also listed marketing at Athens Technical College under the education classification.

Donald Trump Calls For Revolution In America Over Obama's Victory

Minutes after the president of the United States of America, Barrack Obama was projected to win the U.S. election by the major networks, popular businessman, Donald Trump, took to Twitter to voice his outrage, demanding a ‘revolution.’ 

He called Obama's victory a 'great and disgusting injustice', calling on Americans to march on Washington DC to press home their displeasure with the outcome of the election.

It would be recalled that President Goodluck Jonathan faced a similar backlash as he rode to victory with some top politicians declaring that they were "determined to make Nigeria ungovernable" should Jonathan win the election. 

His rival, Atiku Abubakar, a former Vice President also said in December of 2010 concerning the President "let me send a message to the political leadership of Nigeria, those who make peaceful change impossible make violent change inevitable".

Today, violence is becoming a daily occurrence in Nigeria. Donald Trump should be called to order!

He later deleted them perhaps for fear of public backlash.

Nigeria becomes US priority in visa issuance

The United States (US) mission in Nigeria, has disclosed that Nigeria, along with Brazil and China, are now priority in the issuance of visa to applicants. US Consular Officer, Patty Neary, made this known yesterday in Abuja during the monthly press briefing, where he said Nigeria is now a priority alongside Brazil and China, adding that, time for issuance of visa will be reduced. 

 Neary stated that as a priority country, Nigeria will be given more officers and more staff to facilitate issuance of visa. She further said in the 2012 fiscal year, the US has processed over 40,000 visas, compared to the year 2011, while also saying that the US has increased the figures by 11 percent. According to Neary, “Majority of those visas have been issued.

 Nigeria became a priority nation in 2012, following the recent upsurge. We are absolutely committed to facilitating legitimate travels and to do that, you need to help us.” On the issuance of student visa, Neary added that the US wants Nigerian students to study in the US, but that they have to plan ahead. 

Her words “They should apply 120 days before their studies begin and we encourage them to apply as soon as possible. Service fee must be paid and come, prepared to speak to us. Our goal is that every qualified student visa applicant is able to begin his or her program of study on time. Good reasons for choosing a US school should be given rather than coming to tell us about the school building, library and all that.”

 Neary also said there was no need to pay a tout to assist in the processing of visa, saying applicants should rather go on the internet and pay $160 for visa. “We can’t stress enough, the need for all of you to make your own appointment individually because of its importance. You do not need anyone, you do not need a company to help you process your visa,” she said.

A magazine in Spain,Magazine Fuera de Serie , has published a photoshopped image of a partially n*de First Lady Michelle Obama. The image shows FLOTUS sitting in a chair, covered with what appears to be an American flag, with one of her br*asts exposed. It looks as if the first black First Lady has been remade into a slave wearing a head wrap, thanks to technology.

 The question which immediately comes to mind is, did anyone ever publish a nude magazine cover of Laura Bush? What about Barbara? Hillary? Of course not, but it seems that, even as First Lady, white people across the globe feel that they can use Michelle Obama’s image for whatever purpose they desire.

 If they desire to see her n*ked, then so be it, regardless of whether or not she’s married, or who she’s married to. Married to the leader of the most powerful country in the world? No matter. 

Show me your titty. And so it goes. In a white supremacist structure, it doesn’t matter how much a black person achieves, he or she is still just an object to be whimsically used and discarded. In this instance, Michelle Obama’s face was superimposed on the body of an African Guadeloupean female slave painted by French artist Marie-Guilhelmine Benoist in 1800. 

To you, FLOTUS is a brilliant attorney and an excellent First Lady, but to the folks at Magazine Fuera de Serie, she’s still just a slave. Best not let her, or us, forget that. To the artist’s credit, she has done other famous nudes, some of them white. 

But the idea that Michelle Obama’s face would be superimposed on a slave’s body has special meaning, and anyone with half a brain would know that. I’m sure the artist, Karine Percheron-Daniels, knows that this representation of Obama shows her as submissive and powerless. And that wasn’t by accident. That was the plan.

Woman Pumps Out Five Babies IN Five Minutes

A set of quintuplets — among the first sets delivered nationally so far this year — were in stable condition after being born to missionaries Carrie and Gavin Jones at Dallas’ UT Southwestern Medical Center. Three boys and two girls — Will Edward, David Stephen, Marcie Jane, Seth Jared and Grace Elise — remained in the neonatal intensive care unit at St. Paul’s University Hospital, part of the medical center complex. While in stable condition, the siblings likely will remain hospitalized for several months until they reach weight, post-birth age and health markers.

 Born Thursday, the five ranged in weight from 1 pound 12 ounces to 2 pounds 11 ounces and in length from 12.5 inches to 15.5 inches. “For all the anxiety that a quintuplet pregnancy generates, Carrie and Gavin are the perfect couple of have held it together,” said Dr. Patricia Santiago-Munoz, who delivered the babies in four minutes, according to the hospital.

 “A birth like this takes a village.” That it did — a team of more than 50 specialists, nurses, therapists and technicians assisted Santiago-Munoz, an assistant professor of obstetrics and gynecology. Medical teams planned for the births for months, even designating a special “Code 5″ designation, handing out pagers to staff and developing a color-coded system to match each baby with his or her needed supplies. Weekly drills were held to prepare for the births, the hospital said. On average, about 12 sets of quintuplets are born each year, according to the hospital. In 2009, the CDC recorded 16 sets. 

 Gavin Jones, 35, is a helicopter pilot. He, his wife and the couple’s 8-year-old son Isaac serve as missionaries in the South Pacific nation of Papua New Guinea, according to the hospital. The couple chronicled the pregnancy and documented the babies’ births on their blog, and continue to offer updates on the babies’ medical conditions and progress. Seth, for instance, has battled breathing difficulties, his parents said. “Seth’s left lung is better,” according to a Sunday blog post.

 “Now they are trying to inflate his right lung.” Each baby is assigned his or her own medical team, the hospital said, including a neonatologist, neonatal nurse practitioners, nurses, respiratory therapists, pharmacists and radiology technicians. “The infants are doing as expected for quintuplets born at 27 weeks,” said Dr. Gary Burgess, medical director of the NICU. The Joneses said on their blog that it’s “an emotional time” and “with five babies at different stages of wellness, it’s quite a roller coaster around here.” 

 “I am so in love with these five tiny bundles of perfection,” Carrie Jones posted. “Obviously, my favorite times of the day are those I spend in the NICU.” “We have been blown away by the outpouring of prayers and support for us through this unexpected journey,” Gavin Jones said in a statement. “We are especially grateful to the team of professionals at UTSW who have gone beyond the call of duty in preparing for the babies and caring for Carrie. They have been amazing.”

 It is the idea of U.S. author Dinesh D’Souza, whose book The Roots Of Obama’s Rage paints a deeply unflattering portrait of the ‘narcissistic’ President. George has also written a memoir, called Homeland.

 Published in 2012, it details how he turned his back on a middle-class Kenyan upbringing to live among the desperately poor in Nairobi’s infamous slums. The book’s precis tell us: ‘George chooses to live in the Nairobi ghetto, where he works to help the ghetto-dwellers, and especially the slum kids, overcome the challenges surrounding their lives.’

Imagine taking 400 scientists on an alien road trip where each one wants to examine every interesting rock along the way. Welcome to the next two years of NASA’s landmark robotic mission on Mars. Scientists on Earth are eager to explore the Gale Crater, where water is believed to have pooled many years ago and where the US space agency’s $2.5 billion Curiosity rover touched down early Monday. 

Next up, Curiosity will haul the Mars Science Lab at least half-way up Mount Sharp, a towering three-mile (five-kilometer) Martian mountain with sediment layers that may be up to a billion years old. But it may be a full year before the remote-controlled rover gets to the base of the peak, which is believed to be within a dozen miles (20 kilometers) of the rover’s landing site. 

We are going to make sure that we are firing on all cylinders before we blaze out across the plains there,” John Grotzinger, project scientist on the Mars Science Laboratory, told reporters shortly after the rover landed. “Possibly within a year or so we could be at the base of Mount Sharp, because the place we landed on looks pretty darn interesting and we just don’t want to rush out of there without having studied it real well.” 

 First, a series of checks to the car-sized vehicle must take place, which could take weeks. Then comes the unavoidable bickering and questions of, “Are we there yet?” that another NASA scientist likened to taking a cross-country family trip with all of his coworkers. “My version of the surface mission is that it is like going on a family vacation and driving from here to Chicago,” said Richard Cook, flight systems manager on the project at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory in California. 

 “Except that your family has got 400 scientists who want to stop and look at every fossilized-whatever they can find.” Part of the check-out process will be testing the various instruments on board the rover, which carries everything from a rock-vaporizing laser and telescope combination to a chemistry kit for analyzing powdered soil and rock. 

The rover also totes tools to check for carbon-based compounds that are the building blocks of life and a water detector that can pick up water underground at a distance of 20 inches (50 centimeters). One instrument, the Radiation Assessment Detector (RAD), has already been collecting data about the radiation the spacecraft sustained, including the effects of five big solar flares, since its November 2011 launch. 

 The monitor has tracked high energy atomic and subatomic particles from the sun that could pose a danger to astronauts if a human mission to Mars ever takes place, with President Barack Obama vowing to get humans there by 2030. Dan Hassler, principal investigator for Curiosity’s RAD, told reporters last week scientists were still analyzing the data but said the radiation recorded would make a “significant” contribution to an astronaut’s career dose limit. 

 NASA also said that “radiation from galactic cosmic rays, originating from supernova explosions and other extremely distant events, accounted for more of the total radiation experienced on the trip than the amount from solar particle events.” The Curiosity rover’s two year lifespan is already much longer than the last NASA rovers to get to the Red Planet in 2004. Spirit and Opportunity were solar-powered vehicles meant to last three months. Spirit carried on a bountiful career that lasted more than six years and Opportunity is still trucking along. 

 “The nominal mission for this is two years, but I think if it lasts twice that I don’t think anyone would be shocked,” said Pete Theisinger, director of the Engineering and Science Directorate at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory. “And that is the first time anyone has gotten me to say anything more than two years. We are in no hurry, OK? And we’re not going to … screw it up”

Nigerian igbo Man In Houston Arrested For Triple Homicide. Feanyichi Uvukansi, a 24yr old Nigerian who lives in Houston has been charged with the TRIPLE HOMICIDE and double shooting outside the concert of Rapper Trae Tha Truth in Houston. 

 Trae was SHOT too .uvukansi was trying to kill poppa c in a domestic dispute they had earlier in the week and ended up killing the other innocent bystanders. He killed Coy "Poppa C" Thompson, 23, Erica Rochelle Dotson, 30, and Carlos Durell Dorsey, 31. 

 Uvukansi has an extensive criminal history that includes 2008 convictions for misdemeanor marijuana possession, misdemeanor criminal mischief, a felony possession of a controlled substance, a felony burglary charge that appears to have been reduced to a misdemeanor criminal trespass charge and felony assault of a public servant.

 He served three years in prison and was released last September. Records show that at the time of the shooting, Uvukansi was out on bond on charges of marijuana possession and retaliation. 

He remains at the Harris County Jail. Uvukansi is from imo state,Nigeria and his attorney father wanted to represent him in court but backed out! he is currently being held without bail. May God help Nigeria overcome Nigerians like this and their horrendous crimes adding to the countrys bad name. May this youngman find direction from God serving time...that is if he sint sent to death row.

71-year-old Customer in Internet Cafe Chases & Shoots 2 Robbers that Came to Robb(VIDOE)

If you’ve been thinking about robbing an internet cafe in Florida, you might want to reconsider. When a pair of masked robbers tried robbing the Palms Internet Café in Central Florida, they encountered quite a surprise: A 71-year-old web surfer with a concealed handgun. 

 The security video above shows a pair of 19-year-old robbers marching into the cafe like it was a real-life game of Grand Theft Auto, threatening its patrons with a baseball bat and a handgun. But while the would-be crooks are rounding up patrons, one fed-up vigilante had enough and started firing at the thieves.

 Amazingly, the bad guys scramble in total fear, falling over themselves as they race to leave the establishment, with the elderly man chasing them down every step of the way. US returns stolen Nok artifacts to Nigeria in New York ceremony

NEW YORK - The United States has returned 11 cultural artifacts to the government of Nigeria. 

 Authorities said Thursday that French customs officials tipped off the U.S. in April 2010 about a shipment headed to New York's Kennedy Airport.

 The 10 Nok (nahk) statues and a carved tusk were seized from a Manhattan gallery owner, and an investigation determined they were bona fide antiquities. 

The artifacts are to be displayed in Nigeria's national museum. Nok statues are about 2,000 to 2,500 years old, among the oldest sculptures in West Africa. 

They were first unearthed in 1943 at a tin mine near the village of Nok in central Nigeria. Homeland Security investigators say two Nok statues and a carved ivory tusk were previously seized at Chicago O'Hare

First American Woman To Fly In Space Dead At 61

Sally Ride, the first American woman to travel into space, died Monday at the age of 61, the Associated Press reported. The cause of death was pancreatic cancer, according to a statement posted on the website of Sally Ride Science, a science education company she founded in 2001. 

She had been battling the disease for 17 months. On June 18, 1983, Ride became the first American woman to fly in space when she blasted off on the Challenger as part of the STS-7 crew, according to NASA. 

 She flew her second shuttle mission on October 5, 1984, again aboard the Challenger. That mission, STS-41G, was the first shuttle crew to include two women. After she retired from NASA in 1987, Ride became a member of the faculty of the University of California, San Diego and the California Space Institute, according to a statement posted to Sally Ride Science.

 According to its website, Sally Ride Science is "dedicated to supporting girls’ and boys’ interests in science, math and technology." Ride is survived by her partner Tam O’Shaughnessy, as well as her mother, sister, niece and nephew.

Five Nigerians die in US auto crash

As Americans come to terms with the dastardly theatre killings in Colorado, the Nigerian community in New York was thrown into mourning, weekend, when a Mercedes Benz sports utility vehicle with some Nigerians hit a concrete support and rolled over. The SUV burst into flames killing five of the seven passengers including two children. 

 The accident happened on Sunday in New York City where the cccupants of the car had come from a 2-day convention of the Arondizuogu Patriotic Union National Congress of North America. Later that day, members of the group were in mourning as they entered and left the Jamaica Hospital Medical Centre where three of the survivors of the accident had been brought.

 A grieving Inno Chima, a participant in the Saturday night gala, was quoted to ask: “Did God go to sleep on us?” The accident occurred around 3:15 a.m., and the police believe the S.U.V. was speeding, the authorities said. Witnesses told investigators that the vehicle ran two red lights shortly before the accident, which occurred on Atlantic Avenue just east of the Van Wyck.

 The vehicle struck a concrete support for the AirTrain to Kennedy International Airport, and flipped a number of times before coming to rest on the passenger side about 80 feet away, authorities said. Then it ignited in flames. During an interview outside the hospital, Mr. Chima said there was “casual drinking” at the Golden Terrace banquet hall, on Atlantic Avenue less than a mile from the accident site.

 But investigators do not believe that alcohol played a role in the accident, and emergency personnel did not detect the odor of alcohol at the crash scene, a law enforcement official said. On the sidewalk outside Jamaica Hospital, Evelyn Anyaogu, from the Bronx, said she was a cousin of one of the people who died in the accident. Ms. Anyaogu identified her cousin as a Michigan woman, Nnenna Obioha, who was in her 50s or older.

 “She has the best heart in the whole world,” Ms. Anyaogu said. Ms. Anyaogu recalled how festive the night had been at the convention. “We danced our native dance,” she said, adding that it was a “very, very good time.” But those memories quickly evaporated when Ms. Anyaogu received a call from the authorities to “tell me what happened.” “How do you cope?” she added. Mother-of-two self-aborted her baby just a week before its due date

A married woman is facing jail for aborting her baby herself in the final week of pregnancy. Sarah Catt, 35, bought a drug over the internet and has pleaded guilty to a charge of taking it with ‘intent to procure a miscarriage.’ 

 The mother-of-two has refused to co-operate with police and detectives have no idea what happened to the baby’s body. Further details of the ‘highly unusual’ case will be revealed when the defendant returns to Leeds Crown Court to be sentenced in September. 

Catt, who has two children aged 10 and eight, is still believed to be with her husband Stephen, 41, who accompanied her to court today. Police revealed she had a scan at two days short of 30 weeks in March 2010 which confirmed she was pregnant. However, the baby was terminated ‘in the final stages of pregnancy.’ 

Chief Inspector Kerrin Smith, of North Yorkshire Police, said outside court ‘many questions remain unanswered’ despite a long police investigation. Police found evidence Catt bought medication commonly used to induce abortions via the internet. 

The drug she purchased is normally used to induce labour if the baby has already di*d in the womb or the pregnant woman is taking part in a clinical trial. It causes uterine contractions and opens the cervix, causing the body to expel the foetus hours after it is taken. Inspector Smith said the medication ‘could facilitate the labour and delivery of a child.’

Colorado killer faces victims' families in bizarre first appearance in court

The gunman suspected of brutally slaying 12 moviegoers during a screening of The Dark Knight Rises in Aurora, Colorado has appeared in court for the first time looking disheveled and wide-eyed. 

James Holmes, 24, who dyed his hair red in a reported bid to look like Batman's arch nemesis The Joker, looked straight ahead in Arapahoe County Courthouse as the judge advised him of the case.

 Holmes is being held on suspicion of first-degree murder after he shot dead 12 cinema-goers and wounded 58 in a horrifying shooting spree just after midnight on Friday morning. 

The judge ordered the suspected gunman, who some commentators suggested may have been suffering from a lack of sleep, to have no contact with any surviving victims or their relatives.

In a horrifying case of a father s*xually abusing his daughter, a 56-year-old man has been arrested by the police in West Virgina for fathering three children with his daughter.

Newsmen gathered that the shameless man had been involved in an incestuous relationship with his own daughter for the past 28 years. 

 The daughter, who is now 35, told police investigators that her father started abusing her since the age of 7.

 It was revealed that she gave birth to three kids for her father when she was 14, 19 and 20. The children of the man's incestuous relationship with his daughters are now aged 21, 16 and 15.

Shooting Suspect Reportedly Facing Death Threats From Other Inmates

Inmates and prison workers are reporting unusual behavior from the 24-year-old sole suspect of the Aurora, Colorado movie theater shooting. 

 According to the New York Daily News, James Egan Holmes entered the prison dressed up like the Joker, "acting crazy" and "spitting on guards". 

The Daily News also reported that other inmates have threatened to kill Holmes. “All the inmates were talking about killing him," just-released inmate Wayne Medley told the Daily News.

 "Everyone was looking for an opportunity. It’s all they could talk about." Holmes is being held at the Arapahoe Detention Center in solitary confinement.

 Meanwhile, authorities are still investigating and trying to disarm the suspect's apartment. A bomb squad managed to set off a controlled detonation on Saturday, but it's unclear how many booby traps he set. 

 According to witnesses, Holmes entered the theater during the first 30 minutes of the midnight premiere of The Dark Knight Rises at the Century 16 theater in Aurora, Colorado. Some moviegoers thought that Holmes, who was wearing a gas mask and body armor, was part of the movie premiere. Police said that he had planned the attack for months.
