Nigeria football fans and supporters are disorientated people who think shallow and one-sided.We think we are passionate about football, but all we are exuding is why we are failures in our respective lives.
Just like yesterday,i still remember the yearnings of the masses or the so-called Nigerian Fans!!!
All spoke with one voice for the appointment of coach samson siasia as the right choice to lead Nigeria Football to the place of dreams as he was seen as one of the most successful coaches in the African Continent.
How time flies and people change with time.Going through all radio stations in my car,all i hear is one voice "Sack Samson Siasia" because he failed to honour the terms of his contract which is "Qualify Nigeria for the Nations Cup".
How i wonder why we never learn or try to be non-predictable,atleast just for once.IF success is built only around success,then nobody will be successfull because "success is the result of countless number of failures with a never say die positive altitude".
We dont need to be objective all the time,things dont go well as planned all the time,we dont need to take and stand by the first thing our DIRTY minds tells us which is "Sacking a man for not performing".
When are we going to look at success as a step-wise process and do things the whole world will look at and say "These people are humans afterall".
"I am angry with Samsaon siasia, YES.
I FEEL that he should be sacked since he failed to meet the terms of his contract,,,YES.
He didnt show some fatherly altitudes when it mattered most,,YES.
He failed to look into the local league and get more hungry players."
But this is not the solution to our problems,the man cant be a failure all of a sudden unless everything he has achieved is a fluke or he was just dead lucky.
Also,looking at the situation on ground,the only lost match in the nations cup campaign was the away game to Guinea conceeded by Coach Austin Eguavoen.
If mourhinho can be given a second chance to win the spanish cup and win the champions league, Siasia should be allowed to stay.
He is our very own,and should be groomed.We have been too serious sacking coaches and expecting too much from our coaches,lets expect a little twist once or twice.
I dont know the man, but there was once something attractive about him,,lets learn to stay with people during their low and high things,people dont win all the time but we live to fight another day.
I remember telling a friend last week,that i forsee a time not very far where Barcelona with all the stars and glamour at the present will be ridicled and insulted in the near future.This sacking phylosophy puts a harder pressure on the next coach who thinks he is only wanted for his glory and nt his mistakes.JOSE MOURIHNO is loved because of his success and failures,lets love our own like that.
If I was the NFF chairman,this is what i would say to be honourable
"We are sorry we didnt qualify the nation for the all important Nations cup.We tried our best but on the day it mattered most,we were not just lucky.
We love football and want to always win but things dont go as plan all the time,we only give our best and expect our best to be better than what other people will give but perhaps the Guineans gave better and they deserved this.We will meet in the battle field next time.We made mistakes just to correct other mistakes but life is a learning process and if we dont learn from our mistakes and find scape goats we will never get there.Yes,Siasia didnt qualify us as contracted but it is left for the other party to enforce the contract and sack him.After delibrate consideration of the issue on ground,the board has decided to give him another chance and give him another fair contract where he would be duly responsible for his mistakes and not be axed on the mistake of another man.
If as Nigerians,we want to axe someone as a scape goat,i duly offer my resignation as the chairman of NFF because i believe rebuilding takes time and sacrifice.The guineans have paid for theirs in the past,it is our time.i believe in Nigeria and in nigerians.Thank You"
Do this and watch heaven and earth shake because this is the hallmark of great man and never have i seen a Nigerian leader do this.
