Akin Adesina Elected To Be President Of African Development Bank(AFDB)

Nigerians now taking important positions in Africa. Nigeria’s outgoing Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Akinwumi Adesina has won the race to be named President of the African Development Bank (AFDB).
The result of the elections was released to the public by Minster of Finance, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala.

The minster hailed Adesina saying he was great and labelling his campaign was strong and great. Okonjo-Iweala made the announcement on her personal twitter handle @NOIweala.
