(both are pictured above Kamilu is the man to the left that resembles a painting, whist Pst. Alonge is the man to the right).

Kamilu, who hails from Abeokuta and lived at Ade Oshunowo Street, Giwa Junction, Oke Aro, near Agbado, was said to have visited Alonge on June 10, 2014 but was later found later, lying almost dead at a junction in the area! Hmmm!

A resident, Jinadu said he was deeply shocked to see Kamilu, 54, lying unconcious told the newspapers reporters that the victim's eyes and tongue had been removed!
Futher investigation revealed that the victim was brutally murdered. The incident was said to have been reported at Ayinla police division.

The policemen then rushed the victim to the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital LASUTH), Ikeja, where he eventually died 3 days later on Friday, June 13. Before embarking on the visit to Pst. Alonge,
Kamilu told his wife that his pastor friend said they were both going to an important meeting but did not disclose the place to him.

Alonge who happens to be the pastor of Exodus Anointed Church of Christ, Adiyan, Agbado in Ogun State, and Kamilu, a theatre practitioner, had been friends for about 15 years. Also, while Kamilu is married with two children, the pastor is said to have married three wives, but retained only one who gave birth to two children.

"At about 10am when he left the house on Tuesday, Alonge called him on phone, and my husband replied that he was already about leaving. He promised to come back at about 6pm because I was not feeling alright too, and I was even using drugs.
"By 3pm that same day, I called him on phone again asking whether my ATM card was with him because I needed to withdraw some money. He still answered me cracking a joke, and I heard the voices of about four persons laughing in the background. He said it was my ATM card that he was eating now in pastor's house. That was the joke, but it made me to know that he was still at that place."

Ngozi Eze deceased and from top left: Ibekwe Eya, Eugene Ukwueze, Kenneth Idoko
Things seem to be falling apart in Igbo Eze North Local Government Area of Enugu State, following the  discovery of the decomposing body of a lady, four days after she was declared missing.
The deceased, Ngozi Eze, 35, reportedly went to see off a friend on March 9, 2014 and was on her way back when her assailants  accosted her in a bush path,gang-raped her and strangled her to death. And as  if that was not enough, her breasts and private part were  chopped  off.
Efforts of the community neighborhood watch led by one Mr. Onyema Ossai, to  unravel the circumstances  surrounding Ngozi’s murder, reportedly led to the apprehension of  four men suspected to be behind the dastardly act.

The suspects identified as Ndukwe Omeke, a motorcyclist,Chinedu Ugwuanyi, a palm  wine tapper, Eugene Ukwueze and Ibekwe Eya, also a motorcyclist, alleged that  they were offered N600,000 by  one Kenneth Idoko, a cattle dealer, to get fresh  female  breasts and private part.

Surprisingly, one of them was discovered  to be living adjacent to the deceased’s compound.  They reportedly  told policemen that they decided to strike that fateful day because  the  community was  celebrating its annual ‘Omaba’ festival which usually  attracted a good number of people both within and outside the community.

A competent Police source told Crime Guard that the suspects confessed that the cow dealer gave them a  white handkerchief with which to wrap the  fresh private part and breasts  and bring to him before they would be paid.

However, when those of Ngozi were taken to him ( cow dealer), he reportedly gave the suspects just N500 to fuel their motorbikes ,claiming that he was yet to get the N 600,000 from the major source.
The suspects, according to Police sources ,further stated that immediately they delivered the late Ngozi’s body parts, sleep eluded them and  they began to live in perpetual fear . Unsure of their fate, they reportedly confided in their  anchor man  whom they said  gave  them a white stone  to put  in a cup of water and drink, assuring  that nothing would   happen to them.

it was gathered that before Ngozi was murdered, the alleged ring leader,Ndukwe Omeke,  attempted to kill his wife and take her parts to their anchor person ,apparently to have the largest share of the amount. He was reported to have successfully lured his unsuspecting pregnant wife to the bush to fetch some firewood he claimed to have gathered.
But his mission was rendered unaccomplished as his colleagues never showed up at the designated place, after six hours of waiting.

Police sources said the suspects confessed that their anchor person promised to pay  them N600,000 on every lady’s fresh parts brought.

How they were arrested
Explaining how they were apprehended, chairman of  Umuagama neighbourhood watch Mr. Onyema Ossai said: “Around 7.30pm, Mr. Jerome Eze, father of the deceased, came to inform us that his daughter Ngozi, who had gone to escort her friend was missing. Immediately,I assembled all the vigilante members in  the community and went in search of the girl, unknown to us that she has been killed.

“After a fruitless search that night, next day, we went to  Enugu Ezike Police division  to report, where we were  told  to  bring her picture. We sent messages to neighboring communities and commercial  motorcyclists informing them to assist in the search.

“Four days later, we were informed that some children who had gone to the bush to cut palm kernels came back to say that a foul smell was emitting at the bush part. We rushed to the place only to behold  the decomposed body of the missing  Ngozi.

“On hearing that the corpse has been recovered, one Ndukwe Omeke, who lives adjacent the deceased fled the community. This aroused suspicion and we recalled that he had earlier discussed a N600, 000 business deal  with his colleagues.
“Then ,we started sniffing on how they got a business of N600, 000 because  we all know  what they do to make out  a living. One of the assailants, Eugene Ukwueze, has been on the run for  three years over a robbery incident where one of  his colleagues was killed at Aji, a neighbouring community.

Since it was discovered that Eugene was the one discussing the N600, 000 business , we invited him  for questioning because we already know his antecedents.
“One thing led to the other and we were able to arrest one of them who owned up and  confessed that they laid siege at the bush path from morning  till 4pm before they carried out the nocturnal operation.
“All the suspects are indigenes of Umuagama Community. We started apprehending them one after another and handed them over to the police for thorough interrogation.

“ We got information that one of them, Ndukwe Omeke, the gang leader, has been sneaking into his in-laws residence to eat at night. On the day he was apprehended ,we overheard his father in-law telling him to stay away from his compound that he cannot be sneaking into his compound after killing someone. In response, Ndukwe boasted that he can never be arrested by any person.

Chinedu Ugwuanyi  was a member of the neighbourhood watch of the community. He was alleged to be the one who tied Ngozi’s hands and pulled off her clothes while Eugene Ukwueze was the first to rape her before others took their turns. The corpse has been buried due to its decomposed nature”, he stated.

The deceased’s younger brother John Eze, who said the family was yet to come to terms with the reality of the tragedy, revealed that at the station, one of the suspects ,Ndukwe Omeke told Police that his colleagues told him never to own up to the murder, assuring him that they would be bailed at the end of the day.
“But they later owned up. When we asked who sent them to kill Ngozi, they said they  had no special person in mind to kill ,that they were only  waiting for any girl to emerge.”

Catholic priest reacts
The Parish Priest St. Mary’s Catholic Parish Umuagama, Enugu Ezike Rev. Fr. Mellitus Idogwu who also  spoke to vanguard, condemned the  murder of the innocent girl, saying that his Parish  had to organized a rosary procession to cleanse the land.
Rev. Fr. Idogwu also urged the Police to ensure  that all the culprits in the alleged crime were  brought to book,  to serve as deterrent to others .

He also called  for the need for  the neighborhood watch in the community to be encouraged.
When contacted,  spokesman for the Enugu  State Police Command, Ebere Amarizu, a Deputy Superintendent of Police, said investigation into the  murder had commenced, explaining that those behind the murder were currently being interrogated and had given useful information which was helping the police in  their investigation .

Unbelievable:51-year-old Nurse Killed By Suspected Ritualists In Cross-River

Mrs. Helen Ilonge, Primary Health Care Coordinator in Bekwara Local Government Area of Cross River State and a widow with five children, has been murdered by suspected ritualists, who cut some of her private parts off for alleged ritual purposes.

Mrs. Ilonge, who lost her husband about twelve years ago, was kidnapped last week while returning from a church programme at Assemblies of God, Abakaliki, in Ebonyi State, to her Ukpe village, along Ikom-Ogoja Highway and was subsequently beheaded.Speaking on the matter, Cross River State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Osita Ezechukwu, said about four persons have been arrested by the anti-homicide unit, adding that when investigations were completed, the suspects would be prosecuted.

“We have taken confessional statement from them. Those who are not involved have been allowed to go while those who are involved are still in detention,” he said.An okada rider in Bekwara identified as Ifeanyi alias koboko is one of the suspects arrested by the police. He was said to have been paid N10, 000 by a suspected ritualist whose name was given as Elvis Okumo. He allegedly beheaded the nurse and severed other vital reproductive parts including breast.

It was gathered that 51-year old Mrs Ilonge met Ifeanyi who had allegedly been contracted by the ritualist to supply vital parts of a woman and he was said to have taken the lady from Okpogrinya Junction on the pretence that he was taking her to Igoli, Ogoja, her destination, some ten minutes’ drive from the point but along the way stopped and handed her over to the kidnappers at Ukpe.

According to the victim’s neighbor, Mrs. Theresa Idagwu, the late Mrs. Ilonge “called her daughter Victoria Agah at about 9 pm that she was at Okpogrinya junction that she was taking a cyclist to Igoli and that when she gets to Igoli, she would call again so that she (Victoria) can boil water for her because she was cold following the rain which has been falling all day and she was drenched-that was the last call.”

Mrs. Idagwu alleged that was the last they heard of her until two days later when a call came through from the kidnappers demanding for a ransom of N50,000 which should be sent through MTN and GLO recharge cards.

“We looked everywhere, in police stations, hospitals and even her friends in Igoli, thinking that maybe an accident had occurred along the road but we got nothing,” she said. When her daughter could not raise the money for the recharge cards, she rushed to the Bekwara council headquarters where the head of administration, Mr. Bisong Bogbo and the chairman of council Mr. Linus Edeh provided the money sent to the kidnapers.

The Bekwara Council Head of Administration, Mr. Bogbo said, “Initially they said they were at Ishi Eke near Abakaliki. The voice claimed that he needed the recharge so he could sell and run away from the master who was a ritualist whom he has been serving for a long time and was tired. He said once he gets the cards he will break the door where the nurse was kept and release her.”

According to him, after the cards were sent to the kidnaper by the daughter, the kidnapper called to say he was going to confirm if the cards were genuine but after that his phone was switched off. However after hours of panic and anxiety, we later heard that the woman was cut in pieces and it was the tracking device that located the place of the voice to be in Abuochiche and some people confirmed that Ifeanyi was selling MTN and GLO recharge cards.

The two suspects arrested; Ifeanyi and the mastermind of the kidnap, Elvis according to Bogbo confessed that the woman had already been butchered after Ifeanyi collected the recharge cards and her other remains buried in a swamp.

He said “The thing is that, the woman was wasted because the oracle they took her head and private parts to rejected them and were thrown away.”
Police sources say the suspects would be prosecuted as soon as possible.
